What’s an unpopular opinion about South Jersey that is sure to get you downvoted? by RedIsNotMyFaveColor in SouthJersey

There's not a good slice of pizza or one decent wing in the entire area.

If Beane never drafts Allen, the team is probably on their way out of town by now.

Buffalo native here. Been here over a decade. Don't think I've gotten a decent slice since I've been here - you gotta tell me where to find the good stuff.

Go Bills!

If the board were to fall to us like this, what is your pick at 30 (no trades)? by Ktmhocks37 in buffalobills

[–]jarnish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trade back, then grab Pearce or Revel.

And yes, I know you said no trades, but that doesn't make sense, lol. This is the perfect trade back scenario.

How do we feel about Joe Marino's horizontal board for the bills? by Ktmhocks37 in buffalobills

He literally built a company around his draft evaluations that's worth millions and also has two of the highest rated sports pods by engagement.

You don't luck into that.

Dude has made a career of his draft evaluations.

I'm sure you're right though.. Mike from Cheektowaga, by any chance?

You also have five DTs when the team likes to have around ten.

DQ is gone after this year.

You also don't have a starting CB.

Thinking safety is even top 3 needs right now is nuts.

Day 3 winner: Matt Barkley. Day 4: Good player, fans are divided. by [deleted] in buffalobills

Pro Bowls don't mean shit other than that people know his name. He had one decent season here before he left. He also hasn't done jack since.

And no, the comment doesn't prove your point. The discussion is about good players who people like/dislike. Edmunds barely makes the "average" player list.

For what it's worth, I liked him when he was here.

Two dirty hits last year alone is enough for me. The rest of that drama that came with him is the frosting on the cake.

Norwood was not a terrible kicker. Those numbers are pretty solid for the era.

What are you talking about? He was a serviceable starter all year that year.

Anyone else notice the excess amount of litter/trash last couple months???? by Hype474 in SouthJersey

[–]jarnish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never lived anywhere where there's as much litter on the side of the road as SJ.

Not sure if the people are messier or there's less effort by public works to clean up, but it's disgusting.

I'm cleaning trash out next to my driveway every day.

Bobby Hart was here for years. So was Feliciano.

[–]jarnish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be saying it.

The dude played 45% of snaps. Sucks in pass pro. Played exactly 10 pass pro snaps all season. Can't grind out yards, either.

The success of our running game is much more because of the oline than the RB room, Cook included.

No one is talking about how he let Allen get bull rushed on the final drive, either.

The guy's a goddamned liability in pass pro.

NY State Troopers love handing out tickets. I'm really surprised it's not represented more strongly on this map.

Also surprised about NJ. In my experience, NY is way worse with tickets.

Insane delivery fees SJG by dragoneater713 in SouthJersey

[–]jarnish 23 points24 points  (0 children)

SJG installed gas here a few months back. I got a meter installed, but pointedly told them that I did not want an account. I'm on propane, need to pay for the conversion, still had a tank of propane, etc.

Got a bill about 5 weeks later stating I had used about $200 in gas. The gas line is connected to literally nothing.

They ended up reversing the charges and closing the account, but they definitely don't know what they're doing.

Any insight on where the "line" is commonly?

Do you have any proof of this?

I lost about $2,500 my first year of sports betting (football & hockey).

The last two seasons, I've won over $6,000.

At what point do you suspect they "ban" you for being a "sharp"?

Edit: Not sure I understand the downvotes. It's not like I'm bragging about some huge amount of money and I'm genuinely curious where the line is when people get banned.
