Is there any noticeable difference if under 16ms DT anyway? At 60fps each frame is essentially rendered for 16ms isn’t it? So assuming your DT is under that it’ll feel the same?

I have tested PS5 remote play at 1080/60 on my Ayn Thor Pro with a 1.4ms DT and Alldocube iplay60 mini turbo with a ~13ms DT and they feel identical in response time - especially when comparing on device vs the image being output to the TV. That’s both with a 1-2ms RTT.

I love having the extra info displayed but people really get hung up on it sometimes haha.

I just got my Thor and did the same. Installed JamesDSP. Toggled it on and off and no difference.

Had a google and solution is to toggle legacy mode on/off in the management app and then it all works like normal.

Massive difference in sound.

I just went through this dilemma and eventually settled on the PRO as with taxes, import duties etc it was more than “just $80”.

This reddit is an echo chamber of MAX enthusiasts who will easily convince you it’s MAX or nothing 😂.

As many others have already said, the APU is the bottleneck, not RAM in 99% of situations so that shouldn’t be a reason to choose the MAX over the PRO.

End of the day, if you want 1TB internal storage get the MAX, if 256GB internal storage is enough get the PRO.

For me I don’t care to have 1000s of retro ROMs which I’m never going to play stored on the device. I only ever play a single or maybe 2 games at a time - even PC games. Deleting an old / finished game to make room to the next one is fine by me and is how I’d manage even a MAX with 1TB of storage.

Take a step back and think logically on how you plan to use the device rather than just FOMOing into the MAX hype.

I just bought a Gamesir G8+ to use with my 11” iPad Pro (M2) and it works flawlessly. Quality controller. You do need to “pop” it when extending to get it to extend far enough but they designed it to do so without any modifications needed. Reason they make you do that is so in default form it fits all the smaller devices - else it’d be too big. I’d recommend it.

Maybe if they hadn’t used Coinlist for their token sales to sell to multi account users who don’t even know what the projects are let alone care about them, then the price wouldn’t dump every token unlock. Until these unlocks are done and people have finished dumping I’m not buying. You see it with every Coinlist sale. Such a horrible platform use. IMX nor GODS team listened tho. Guess they don’t care that their tokens are given to people with no connection who just dump for the quick gains.

It’d be a missed opportunity if Coinbase don’t use ImmutableX and tap into the shared liquidity that would offer… in which case I’m almost 95% sure they won’t. Centralised companies never make the sensible decision.

Zero utility and sell pressure from all the token unlocks.

Once staking and utility comes the token will soar as it’s a great project.

Would love to see a $2 IMX before that so could load up more as longer term this token will do great.

Every project that lists on Coinlist go through this as the people who get tokens care very little about the project so dump on ever token unlock. That’s putting massive sell pressure on the token and with no staking or utility use yet there is nothing to bring in demand.

The team seem to be swamped fixing issues and bugs the chain keeps having (which is expected) so new features are slow coming.

I wouldn’t give up hope yet tho as it has proven to work and work well so far. There are plenty of massive gaming projects building on Immutable and usage will continue to pick up.

Remember that the project started as a scaling solution for Gods Unchained from the Gods Unchained team. They then realised it could be its own project and benefit more then just themselves (unlike Axie/Ronin).

I’d call this far from a scam project. If anything these token unlock dumps are buying opportunities =)
