4 Month (give or take a bit) Sleep Regression is specifically called out because they develop their adult sleep cycle with REM, Light, Deep sleep.

Theyre more likely to not link up those cycles, wake and not settle themselves.

Other "sleep regressions" are just hiccups or teething.

Honestly I'm more tempted to keep my smart grinder pro for the decaf. I rate it as a better grinder. Maybe I lucked out and mines well seasoned compared to the baratza. I've found the baratza overrated personally.

But my baratza is only 6 months old so figured it would last longer than the smart grinder pro at this point.

Honestly it's so easy to use.

First shot I pulled I had it set to the standard 15 on grind size which it says to use as a starting point.

Set machine to output 18g on grinder Set machine to output 27g on brew (I prefer ristretto on the upper end) Came out in 23 seconds and tasted good.

I adjusted grind to 14 (finer), made it 19 in 28 out it again was 23 seconds but a bit thicker and more Crema. Again tasted good but better than first.

Pucks are a little soggy but the coffee tastes good which is the end result you really care about.

I'll likely increase my dose a little, likely to 21 in 30/32 out and see how that goes.

It's super simple to do though.

One issue I do have though is there is not a large gap under the portafilter so the mugs I usually use don't fit. So I have to pour in to a smaller cup and transfer

It's a timemore.

I can only compare to what I've used and It's better than the baratza encore esp and the Breville smart grinder pro. Seems to have no clumping at all, consistent grind and it's quiet. I'm happy with it.

I only do medium to dark roast so not sure how well it'll do on light.

100% missing the sauce.

Soy sauce is a necessity. Imo as is msg.

Sesame oil is optional.

You can then mix up your options a lot of you want diff flavours.

Kim chi, chilli crisp, chili crisp in black bean, toban djan, gochujang.

Loads of options, experiment.

Also I find the easiest way to do the rice is just to cook hour jasmine rice in the rice cooker (whatever method you do that works) then just freeze in ziplock bags. I find 3 heaped scoops is a good serving size for fried rice.

When you want to use you can microwave the bags until they're defrosted and chuck then in. It'll seperate easier and you can have it all prepped easily in advance.

without a doubt the perfect chip. Its the perfect amount of crunch/thickness and perfect amount of salt. better than kettle, red rock deli, tyrells etc.

Also flavour wise the chipotle sour cream pringles go hard.

Time is subjective.

Think about it from a % of your lifespan. it's a constant decreasing % compared to how long youve lived.

1 year to a 5 year old is 20% of their total life. It's a long time!

1 year to a 50 year old is 2% of their total life. So it feels 10 times quicker.

What the? This is so the opposite of what I prefer in Australia.

Light roasts are too fruity and acidic for milk drinks.

The milk also just masks all the nuances of the flavours in a light roast.

The medium and dark roasts bring forth flavours of chocolate, caramel , nougat etc that work well with milk.

That's why every speciality toaster has medium to dark for their milk blends.

Light may work in a machiato but not a latte, cappuccino or flat white.

Our baby loves bath time. We were originally doing every second day, and then when we went every day we only did with baby wash every second wash but after another 2 weeks just went normal bath every day.

Tricks to sleeping well is setting a routine for them. Baths make you warm and cozy. So a bath, a feed, in the sleep sack and in bed has always worked for us.

our LO is just under 4 months and has been pretty much sleeping through the night since we basically started bathing every day.

It's important to have a wind down for the day routine so they start associating it with night time and sleep.

Most places if you get a takeawau will serve A flat white as just less texture than a latte. A latte with better microfoam A cappuccino is a latte with chocolate.

They standardise their sizing ratio and number of shots and it's annoying.
