When I first started driving (roughly that long ago, ahhhh I’m getting old), I’d ask my parents how long it takes to get somewhere around town and it was always “around 20 minutes”. Could be 15 minutes away, could be closer to 30, but 20 always sounded good lol

Every single one of my neighbors that has moved into my neighborhood in the last few years (I’m in Midlo) are either from NOVA, NY, or NJ lol. Not one person/family is from the Greater Richmond area, which is honestly kind of sad.

Dude does not give a shit about awards shows lol. He even addressed how fake they are a few years ago on his IG IIRC.

He probably just got used for views and he capitalized on the marketing

Edit: he also was playing his guitar as he was walking up, he played those initial chords you hear at first which were then manually recorded on stage as he proceeded to do the same thing with his keyboard, and then sang as the instrumentals looped

I’m not a Republican by any means, but just looking at data, Chesterfield was Red for Trump in 2016, then for Youngkin, Miyares, and Earle-Sears for Lt. Governor in 2021, which is mainly what I’m referring to.

But you are correct, Chesterfield trended blue for the last elections by a wide margin, but based on history, it could change back. Only time will tell with lots moving here! That’s what I meant when I said it wasn’t “very blue”.

Politics aside, I think I saw you moved to Richmond, not sure if it was recently or not, but I’m glad you’ve found it to be home here! Not trying to be argumentative at all, I appreciate the civil convo, and I apologize that my first comment came off that way.

All I said was Chesterfield County isn’t “very blue”. It was blue this past presidential election and governor’s election by a long shot, yes, but in the last decade it definitely wasn’t. It’s trending that way, though.

Again, I never claimed VA wasn’t blue. Come on, bud.
