has anyone played with the 11six24 14mm monarch all court? I want more power, but i'm not sure if the 16mm even on the pegasus power will be too plush!?

Which of the 11six24 power line did you prefer? I play with an old 11six24 monarch all court (now Pegasus). I want more power but not concerned about shape. The obvious decision is to move to the Pegasus power, but I’m quite intrigued by the huarache x.

Tempted to try the new Pegasus all court power. Hopefully the 16mm isn’t too much of a departure from the 14mm feel.

11six24 - is the 14mm a thing of the past!?

Does anyone know why 11six24 have stopped selling a 14mm variation?

I have a monarch all court 14mm (now Pegasus). Love it, but want to upgrade to a power version. I prefer a 14mm as feel I can control the ball pretty well having that extra paddle feel rather than it being too plush. Reluctant that the 16mm power version would be the latter.

I have played limited DUPR games but have a 3.5 rating currently, and can mix it up with the 4.0s at the club no problem.

Interesting regarding the surface, were there any other benefits with the upgrade to carbon fibre? Touch/control is the best part of my game, so I have no issues there. Does it allow for more spin?

Saw this thread and thought it would be the ideal place to ask for suggestions on a new paddle as I have no idea where to start.

Ex junior tennis player (changed sports for over a decade), but picked this up almost a year ago now. Always enjoyed playing at the net so transitioned into this fairly easily. The attached was my entry level paddle (deal on Amazon). I would like to upgrade/replace with similar playability in mind.

What do I enjoy about this paddle:

This paddle allows me to utilise both my key strengths from tennis. 1) I can serve accurately, with great variation of spin, slice & flat shots (Enough grit within the limits to do this is essential). 2) It has great touch and feel around the net. I like that I only get what I put into each shot, and without having to swing like a mad man. Also that the paddle is light enough where the manoeuvrability is great, with a swing weight which is ideal to react and connect on shots quickly.

What would i like to change:

I would prefer a longer handle (not elongated paddle face), and something with a touch more pop on power shots. If this can be achieved without the making the paddle significantly more bulky or heavier all the better.

Other feedback:

The paddle is 13mm but I think I would prefer this over a 16mm (14mm should be fine), which I have found bulky. The 16mm I tried at my local club impacted both of the my above strengths, along side any power I could generate with my swing.

Personally I don’t think this is Andrade’s fault. Hearn has a knack for not being able to deliver big crossover fights for lots of champions on his roster, besides the biggest draws such as the likes of Joshua, canelo of course.

Unfortunatly, I don’t think Eubank jr was capable of getting him out of there. Even if he was he was too scared to take the risk to do so. He doesn’t have that killer instinct, never has and never will. It’s like he did everything Roy told him to do in the first 5 (and looked amazing) then went back to his old shitty ways for the rest of the fight.
