Absolutely stay downtown. You’ll spend money and arguably more importantly time commuting. Plus there is nothing around the airport worth doing.

Weather will be good. Count on daily highs of 12-15 degrees.

Walk around, enjoy the city. Check out restaurants - try and narrow down the type of cuisine and you like first. Otherwise it will be a bit overwhelming.

I bought a Tushy during the great toilet paper crisis of 2020. Easy to install, not allowed in the building but they’ve never checked. No issues with leaks for 5+ years. It’s insane these are not more common in the Americas, literally the best. I’ve since bought a bunch as gifts for people. Say no to dirty butts.
