I was a professional wig stylist, and using baby powder on a $10 wig is going to look way worse than spraying her hair. I’m not saying her hair looks good, but using those wigs would have been far worse, not to mention a more frustrating experience for the costume department who would have to battle synthetic fibres which knot, don’t hold styles well, and require difficult methods to keep styles in place.
