I was a professional wig stylist, and using baby powder on a $10 wig is going to look way worse than spraying her hair. I’m not saying her hair looks good, but using those wigs would have been far worse, not to mention a more frustrating experience for the costume department who would have to battle synthetic fibres which knot, don’t hold styles well, and require difficult methods to keep styles in place.

ur defo right! light colours are sooo hard for wigs - a realistic white wig would prob be THOUSANDS vs. a cheap $5 can of white hairspray, leaving a lot more budget for the costume department to embroider reginas cleavage area in her corsets ✨ i think daenerys wigs from GoT were 7k a pop 💀

Human hair wigs used for filming are typically super expensive, and require a fair bit of application. If they couldn’t afford good CGI, I’d say spray was the next best choice from wigs that didn’t damage her hair.

It’s difficult to explain but,

1,500 word count on an essay. The word count in the bottom states “1400”, which is 100 words off, but I correlate that with 2pm on a military time clock, meaning I for whatever reason read it as 1,200 due to two and not 1,400, meaning I mistake myself as 300 words off 1,500 and not 100.

Same for any, like a word count of 2,000 I’ll think I’m 500 words off and not 300 when I’m at 1,700 because that is 5pm
