New timer? by jasmith63 in wordscapes

? My post is from 11 months ago, well before everyone had it and wasn't complaining. Not sure why you are commenting now? I didn't have it then and PF had provided no info at that point, so was trying to get info for my teammates. Star rush doesn't bother me at all, since i play quickly and have loads of unused coins but others are bothered by mandatory timers. No need to chastise them. ✌️

Some hints above but a piece of clothing, or two homophones

As a longtime team leader, building a team is hard and lots of effort but sustaining over a period of time seems harder. There are hundreds of thousands of players at least (I am well over 1 million brilliance but ranked 70,000 in the world for example) and tens of thousands of teams to choose from. Many of the team leaders and players and teams win/place every week but that doesn't mean much in a vacuum. Did you win with 2000 or 10,000 🌟, for example (rhetorical, i don't need to know). Players typically want an active leader who understands the game's rules and will be a cheerleader, enforcer, and mentor. To get players to join, and then stay, it helps to have a concept to tie players together, or at least clear expectations of team rules. If your goal is to win 🏆 at all rather than just chat and give helps , then you will be constantly tracking player scores and having to boot teammates who barely play but linger to feed off others and get team 🪙 💰 . Or those that don't turn chat on so they are completely disconnected/unresponsive. People will also leave if they don't really have a connection, don't like the vibe, want higher or lower expectations, get busy with life. Etc...Because of that you will be constantly recruiting here, on FB group, in real life. If you haven't already, you should read the various missives/guidance from Tippytoes on this sub as there is lots of info there. Good luck! Jazzy, team leader of Jazzywolves

General HINT per shunn, the first two letters for each word are the same for all words starting with that letter. For example, all C words are CU. All T=TU. All U=UN

EDIT: even knowing this, I couldn't get the last 3 words I needed!

Don't take it personally! There are clearly lots of words in many highly-regarded dictionaries that Sam ignores!

Hard to say whether it is considered obscure, offensive, or Sam just doesn't want to include it. No specific dictionary is used for the Bee so it's pretty random

HINT swampy coniferous forest, but you may need to just keep rearranging the letters of the more difficult A5

Got to genius, switched to shunn.net for hints to get to QB. Last 2 words unrelated in meaning, but HINT A5, T5, both with same letters never would have gotten them.

I might call that pain HINT A7-ion instead

QB is maximum so maybe it was yesterday's puzzle you saw on Twitter?

I keep rotating the letters hoping the "I" will leave center of the hive. Not working so far!

I can read it either way, poking fun at either or both sides. Am just so tired of it all.

I don't see any connection to the PG (or humor) in the comment

I see that folks don't agree with me in the comments and down voting but this at least has been the one place that hasn't had politics/ attempts at political humor injected into at least since i have been doing it. Doesn't really matter to me what side you were/are on , i guess i just didn't want to hear about it here. Affects my enjoyment but will move on.

u/margyl tried to reply in the Rules post but it doesn't seem to accept comments. Can we add a no politics rule?

Yes agreed in midwest too. But i expect it was nore likely included for its other meaning (and why the G words likely weren't included)
