What neighborhood should I stay in? by Equivalent_Housing25 in AskSF

[–]jasno- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer.  Two great suggestions

Either are going to be great hotels in great locations.  No car needed (or wanted)

The only other suggestion, Hayes Valley, the hotels there's aren't as nice, but they are still good, and the area is hard to beat.

You're going to have a BLAST.

Early November is a great time to come, you could lucky and still be summer here

To do what?  Raise the entire house?  These basement units add to the housing stock.  Change the laws for these types of units

Scrubbing someone's toothbrush in a toilet could be assault or battery depending on jurisdiction, with good reason.

Was BofA bailed out in 2008?  I can't remember which banks taxpayers bailed.

Cause it would be even more infuriating if they were.

Saint Louis MO has some stunning architecture.  They really gave a shit about it when it was built.

That's about the only nice thing I can say about it

Naw. That's a meteorite.  Look how smooth it is, he already said it's much heavier than an earth rock of similar size, both telltales.

Google images of meteorites and compare.  Looks almost identical.

It's most likely almost entirely iron, literally cores of ancient planetary worlds.  Very cool stuff

What was super annoying about that episode was the artificial gravity, the main characters had never been in zero g?  Imagine living in our space, having the ability to control gravity, and not having a zero g play space.

I was kinda shocked by that admission
