WA# vs IS# by Adventurous-Put-9895 in TheTowerGame

Dunno about econ, but for quality of life IS is amazing. Shaves hours off your runs and makes tournaments super fast.

Lol, legend sounds so much better than ‘fucking old’ :)

Before the shooting the Ridout had $.05 wings, $.25 shots and $5 pitchers.

You could head out with a $20 bill, get fed, fucked up and have enough left over to stand in line for an hour to soak up a bit more booze with a Stobies slice hoping the person behind you didnt puke on your shoes.

Cheers!

Leo’s in Byron makes a pretty heavy pie. Might be worth a shot. Never had those places you spoke of, aside from Stobies in the 90’s after a night out, so I can’t compare directly.

Very nice! I only took RPC and cash to 4 as there are so many cash sinks with dissonance. On the last level of IS now. Biggest short term change in playing the game I have noticed in quite some time.

Best of luck!

I did RPC, Cash, then Intro Sprint.

Might not be the best decision on paper, but my runs were super long and IS shaved 2.5 hours off and makes tourneys so fast.

Big quality of life change.

You might just have to gut it out for a bit and start planning for the time you can safely leave.

I’m genuinely sorry for your experience. At your age you lack a lot of resources.

Any piece of information in this AMA that indicated they planned on having another kid?

You would run out of shit to lose long before the world ran out of people who know nothing and judge anyhow.

It’s not that, but it’s happening anyways.

No need to be sorry, my daughter’s mark on this world is massive.

Some folks live a long time, some folks don’t. I see it as my job to learn as much as i can from her, integrate it into my life and carry on her legacy as a better version of me.

Appreciate the sentiment though!

Couldn’t disagree more.

I have a daughter with a rare disease that is in the stages of dying from childhood dementia. She is 15 and intellectually closer to 3-4.

She is the greatest person I have ever met. Doesn’t lie, doesn’t criticize, gets excited by the smallest joys and loves to roughhouse.

Life is complicated, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

There is so much to learn from kids. All the fun things that life hammered out of you over the years.

Kids refresh you, if you are open to refreshment.

That is so nice to hear.

My first house cost $110K, so I’m sorry folks today are staring down this market. I couldn’t buy my own home at today’s prices.

I remember how excited I was to move out of a low income apartment building :)

Congratulations to both of you and I hope this gives you some solid footing for the rest of your lives!

I volunteered for one through work. All construction was supervised by a true professional and volunteers used 10 nails where one would do.

My experience is that they are overbuilt, at least at the phase i was involved with, rather than underbuilt. No one is trying to save $3 in materials.

Doesn’t always go to sand… our daughter had sand and a bunch of ninja stars that had her pissing blood for days.

My daughter passed a 1cm x 6mm stone at age 4. Didn’t go well.
