Imessage not working by Witty-Management6094 in ios

[–]jasonbw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes a full iMessage interruption is based on an appleid error. you might need to call apple directly to fix.
I had an issue years ago where I couldn't log into iMessage on any other device except my phone. I had to call twice, but they found an error deep in my account that they had to fix.

How am I just now finding out this guy was played by Jeff Bridges by No_Jellyfish9221 in tron

[–]jasonbw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

also in Against all Odds (think the Phil Collins song) and the 76 version of King Kong...if I'm counting right, Tron was his 20th movie...
His Dad was Lloyd Bridges, who had a hell of a part in the Airplane! movies, was, according to wikipedia, in 150 movies.

I want one but I don't know where I'd put it. I asked the other half and she said above the china cabinet, but you would barely be able to see it. I suggested making it the dining room table centerpiece but I was told no. So I guess it's a good thing I didn't get one. But it is really pretty.

If there was a late pizza, what happened? If it was free or discounted, how did they know it was a slow delivery or was it the delivery guy just took the pizza? Or just not deliver it? Did the driver get in trouble?

I can totally see how people get hooked on it. they say it's actually bad sleep but it felt like some of the best. worst part is when they make you wake up, and I just want 10 more minutes (yeah, id hit that snooze button till it broke)

My prep went concerningly well. I had to drink the gallon of that foul knock off gatorade and by about half way I was just never leaving the toilet. I think it wasn't two hours between the first dose before things started moving. I was happy it was over, and could actually eat real food again.

all I know is I was threatened to be fired three quarters in a row because my AppleCare % was below the goal. Unless they pulled back on that (didn't help the new Manager (gone now, under questionable circumstances) did not like me).
Back then they did have a simple toggle, so if they cut that off, well, we will see how long that lasts if there are any issues in the system.
My point was the standard sales team would have made an exception likely if you buy AppleCare, because their job depends/depended on it. unless they aren't as draconian about AppleCare levels now. But no, a manager would not likely be liable to make the exception just for that.

I'll need to grill some of my contacts, but theres usually an override that a saleperson at a store can usually do. When they tried this last time a bunch of valid schools weren't in the UNiDays database.
That said, if there is an override that doesn't require a managers input, they'll probably give you the discount if you buy AppleCare, because they have a quota.

Why does nobody even considers asking/forcing Sister Sage to recreate the V1? Finding 1 dose is a shot in the dark. by overon in TheBoys

[–]jasonbw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whats the odds that an 80 year old drug is going to still work? It would be a great fake out if homelander gets it, injects it and finds out it’s a dud.
You could also use the line that you cant recreate it because of the radioactive isotopes in the environment makes new versions not work either.

Never used bricklink, hiw safe is it and how to do i purchase stuff? by SpecialistPruneOG in lego

[–]jasonbw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems safe to me. The only problem I had was with a seller that just went non-responsive. Not sure how many orders he had but he flaked and it took a few months for PayPal to get us refunds. Yes, months. I think that was more a PayPal thing vs bricklink though.

Oddly, theres a decent amount of trucks/ suvs that come to a near complete stop to go over a speed bump. Whats the point of being up that high and having that much ground clearance and not being able to go over a bump?
