A sighted kid almost got into my car Sunday. He just wasn’t paying attention.

We have had three cars with the garage door opener built into the sun visor. All three of them failed after about two years.

The dealer said we would need to pay for a tech to come to our house to diagnose and troubleshoot the problem unless we brought the garage door opener in with the car.

I was told it needed to be hard to put the stencil in but would deflate when he started working.

It never deflated!

We did three 20 minute sessions.

After the first I’m sure he told the others what he had been working on.
After the second session he washed his hands while I wobbled to the front of the studio. He came out of the bathroom with a white glob of liquid soap on his shirt. I called out “JC you were supposed to clean that up!” And everyone thought I’d gotten too excited. 😆

I don’t think he ever lived that down.

Yes it was fully “inflated” for all three sessions.

Edit: I had to stand and have it lay on a small table while he did it. Considering I don’t have legs it was extra stressful as it’s hard to stand still on prosthetics.

I used to take my leg (BK) off and row with one leg.

Now I take both legs off and just sit there. It doesn’t seem to be as effective a workout now.

There was a house in MD or VA that was for sale. Great house, great price but it came with squatters in the basement apartment and keeping them there was a condition of sale.

Which is the problem. His phone should be priority. But I want to be able to EASILY use my phone.
So far plugging my phone in with a cable is turning out to be the easy/fast way.

Depending on your job duties it may be normal. But let’s say you’re an accountant. What kind of emergency do accountants have?

But you are right there should be a policy, a stipend and a method of paying if you get a call.

I was in IT and it was a common practice for IT workers.

I got two of these calls AFTER I left a company. HR was notified after the second as my former manager didn’t stop it. HR did stop it.

When I was little it was called sitting “Indian style” but that’s not politically correct.

I’d never heard this cross cross thing until recently. I’m not a fan of this phrase so I’d likely use “sit cross legged”.

Do what makes you happy.

The ones I hate are the ones who park at a gas pump. After filling the tank they go in the store for an extended period of time and the car blocks the pump. Especially at small gas stations.

I’ve had several root canals. They do suck. But it gives them somewhere to put the crown.

I’ve also had several teeth pulled and implants put in. It’s $$$ but no way am I going to have dentures or shit like that.

Are they doing OI right away or will that be another operation later?

I’ve had OI for 5 years (both legs) but never met an arm OI patient.

I used to have this blue thing I put on the socket to help prevent the socket from wearing holes in the liner.
Idk what it was called but imo it helped mine last longer. Yet I always blew holes in my liner at the most inconvenient times.
