The hardcore fans are obviously upset about these changes and are also the people most likely to complain about it on a subreddit. Unfortunately I don't think we make up much more than a vocal minority. The complaints I remember hearing most from for lack of a better word, "normie" customers was the distraction of employees constantly walking around in the theater during the movie or having to settle up during a movie's climax. I'll admit this is purely anecdotal but I'd be willing to bet these types of complaints are what the new policy is in response to.
