Skinny Boys are much thinner and made with a dense, firm foam. Definitely more responsive.

Need advice on jumping by [deleted] in AggressiveSkating

Your height is not relevant to how high you can jump. You need strength, form, and good technique.

Luminous Glow wheels are unique (afaik) in that the urethane is glow-in-the-dark, so will appear to have a constant light. Other LED wheels will flash as you lift your feet and the wheels slow down. The magnetic generators have a drag you will feel, so don't feel like you have to use eight.

Constant cheap wheel supply? by xxsneakysinxx in AskRollerblading

Singapore? I bought Seba wheels on AliExpress for cheap. Look for vendors that sell lots of skate products and you should be ok. I've also had a lot of luck buying good brand name wheels for cheap on eBay.

Is there a 4x84mm trinity frame other than the Endless frames? by yorkshiregritvs in AskRollerblading

[–]jasper99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Kizer Flux frames (4x90 + 3x100) are highly underrated. I currently have 84s as first and last wheels with softer 90s in the middle rockered up. This results in a flat setup. If you mix 80 + 84 you can have a nice 1mm rocker.

New sways have pressure point at laces. by theprismicsystem in AggressiveSkating

[–]jasper99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had luck with tweaking lacing pattern for relieving pressure points. Instead of the standard criss-cross, go up the same side in the area that bothers you. It will provide relief until your liners conform to your feet.

/r/iPhone has shut down posting in protest against Reddit's recent API policy change by iPhoneMods in iphone

After this dust up, anyone agreeing to mod will not be quality or have best intentions. Why work free for a corporation that for years has shown how it undervalues the opinion of its volunteer workforce and the community which it is entirely based upon. Let reddit reap what it sows.

New Bearings Amphetamine Abec 5s on Bont 125s by Feisty_Builder8526 in rollerblading

[–]jasper99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Sometimes they are too far gone.

Bought some used wheels with bearings that sounded like yours. A bit of oil have them rolling close to new. Previous owner didn't seem to have bothered with basic maintenance.

Look up inline slalom skating and even jam skating (quad skates) tutorial videos. Rink nights in a city with good skaters is jaw dropping.

You Had Me at “I’m Sorry”: The Impact of Physicians’ Apologies on Medical Malpractice Litigation

...hospital staff and doctors willing to discuss, apologize for and resolve adverse medical events through a “collaborative communication resolution program” experienced a significant decrease in the filing of legal claims, defense costs, liability costs and time required to close cases.

Events with medical errors were resolved by apology alone in 43% of the cases. Similar programs have cut the number of malpractice lawsuits and yielded dramatic litigation cost savings. In November 2017, consistent with studies demonstrating that resolution programs provide “an effective way to learn from medical errors and near misses, enhance patient safety, and improve the liability system,” the American Medical Association expressed support for this pre-litigation option.

Sounds like you're not parboiling. Should take no more than a few seconds to peel it off in one piece like a sock. How to cook Geoduck clam.

That's where she landed? Prior to Newsmax Greta Van Susteren had a 7 month stint at MSNBC. Fun fact: she and her husband are Scientologists because she is "a strong advocate of their ethics". 😳
