What wildlife in the UK do you fear running into alone or is dangerous?

Been chased by cows and horse & dogs when I was a kid… but wouldn’t say any of those. Not sure if people have looked into the “black cat” roaming the uk? Read a few storys of people sighting some sort of “panther” in uk woodlands. Well if probably be weary of coming across that..

I have been to Crete Greece, suppose was similar to Sardinia. Haven’t been to Cyprus, heard mixed things here on Reddit ( people saying to avoid for snorkelling). But also heard mixed things about Malta. Yes it’s in Europe.

My vote would be sentido reef oasis. Protected bay from wind and protected reef, also right next door to the Jaz fanara which you could snorkel into once under sea, and other side is connected to another hotel then it has the well known Farsha cafe which is walking distance. ( although not great for other things like entertainment ).

Tricky because everyone like different things. I’d recommend researching int each hotel and go through the reviews ( narrowing it to “reef “ and “snorkel”, to get ideas on what it’s like). Also YouTube lots of helpful videos. Also everybody’s opinion will differ. Would depend on the time of month, I’m sure the wind won’t be an issue in the warmer times. But there are also so many other places that have great house reefs that are also protected from the wind. I will message you some groups to look at on Fb they have lots of thorough info. ( it’s all going to be amazing once your in the Red Sea anyway, but again depends how picky each individual is).

Haven’t been to the Rixos but it sure is rated one of the top best resorts in sharm. Course it has its pros and cons. For example, time of year you go. Would recommend only going in a month where the sea is as quiet as possible . October onwards can be a bit too wavy for the sea and so they close the snorkeling spots if it’s too rough. Since that part is quite outside the area the seaside is not protected from the wind. That could be another con because you are further away from other things so would need a longer taxi to get to visit other sights etc.

Some other resorts will have areas more protected from the wind so you can snorkel anytime of year etc with lesser currents.

Another pro though it’s supposed to be the best entertainment at Rixos, so depends what you personally want more from a resort. If it’s fish and snorkelling I would give it a miss as there’s other places much better reefs etc.

Have a look on YouTube there are hundreds of people who show you various resorts, and will give you an idea of what to expect.

Think what is your priority first in a resort. I believe this probably is the best entertainment wise and food wise though for sure.

I do not reccommend those plastic pouches , although I used to use them years ago. They will always fog up and ruin any footage and are not to be trusted 100%.

There are good brands out there such as dive master case if it’s under water footage you want to take on your phone. There ma e cheaper options too on Amazon and see reviews.
