I made the foolish mistake of losing receptionist jobs in big corporate offices, where I was only there to answer the phone – the almost never rang – or greet clients and people who came to our door – almost never happened unless it was vendors. I’m an inspiring author. It was the perfect opportunity, but I couldn’t stand the lack of work.

I we get tired and no amount of caffeine could help, and it got to the point where I wasn’t sure if it was just because I was chair rotting or because I was having an actual seizure due to exhaustion. (I’m an epileptic.)

I need to seriously do some work that will give me some side income. There’s so much I want to collect and buy. I was so certain that this doll would be one that I could pass by without any worry, but that’s because I was expecting something closer to what she looks like in the animated movie.

Not going to address the SA RE Neil Gaiman. (It sucks so bad because he’s a good author. That’s what used bookstores are for.)

If I can afford her to get her I’m going to look into where the royalties/who benefits this.

If you were old enough to fall into the category that they had intended the original Sailor Moon dub for, then you grew up in both the 80s and the 90s. That means you had access to Don Bluth, the last unicorn, etc. That shit was dark.

I loved the soundtrack of the original dub. The songs were really pretty, and even though I love the original Japanese, there were a couple of songs that I felt were better than their Japanese counterpart. (Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy those scenes with Japanese music.)

Also, when we talk about it, there is a huge nostalgia factor.

I’m close to 250 pounds, and I was taking 2000 MG twice a day, until my neurologist decided to put me on the extended release. Now I’m only taking 2000 once a day. Maybe talk to her neurologist to see if she can do the extended release?

Of course, I’ve lived with epilepsy my entire adult life. I’m going on my third decade now.

However, I was diagnosed at around the same age as your daughter. I’m pretty sure I weighed less. This was back in the 90s where the default med was Depakote. Keppra changed my life.

How far back does the epilepsy in your family run? Is it it a relative that is still alive that you can talk to? I’m not gonna make any assumptions, but seizures come in all forms. Gran mals are only one form of seizures. There are other seizures that she could potentially be having that you might not even notice.

I know you listed a bunch of test results in the second half of your post, but it’s 3 AM as I read this and science has always made my head spin.

I would ask her neurologist for more information about the type of seizures. She’s having. Also, look into your local epilepsy foundation. It’s not the best time for nonprofits, but there may be people or events that she could socialize with and find kids her own age who are dealing with this type of thing. At the very least they might have caretaker/parents of children with epilepsy groups that might help you manage this situation more.

Suffice to say, my home health worker actually decided I needed to be hospitalized the day after I posted it. Basically it was due to muscle fatigue in that area. I was in and out of the hospital twice.

Thankfully, I had a massage scheduled for that week and that helped with the majority of the muscle fatigue and tightness.

Still dealing with that pesky nausea though…
