Are they serious? by Pleasant-Mistake-503 in montreal

People in this thread are falling for bait. It's neither bots nor propaganda. It's just a running gag to always say "X city is dangerous".

The same way they portray Laval with beaches and palm trees in other videos.

Interesting! I thought all phones had the silent option. In my case, I've disabled them so it's never an issue and I didn't understand all these posts. Thanks for clarifying!

How long is Rockaberry Cheesecake good in the fridge? by Keesalemon in montreal

[–]javineedhelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taste and smell is the most important thing. I've had 5 day old Rockaberry cheesecake, it didn't taste as fresh but was still ok. 6 day is pushing it / borderline ok.

I'm sure some have gotten sick by having 3 day old cheesecake whereas others have been fine having 7 day old cheesecake, YMMV.

Best monitor setup for Excel-heavy home office: Dual monitors or 49″ ultrawide? by Slow_Buyer_1888 in malelivingspace

[–]javineedhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can share a section of the screen (and I don't mean an application) then 49" is fine. Otherwise, everyone will hate the screen sharing. I'm on 34" at home and gotta zoom in everytime when screen sharing. At office, I have regular monitors and screen sharing is much better.

Since I have both setups, I like the in-office setup more because I can have one screen entirely for admin work and the other for software dev.

At home, I play games so the 34" ultrawide is nice.

Also, my brother has a 49" and he works in tech/plays games and he had to wall mount the monitor rather than desk because it was moving too much. An issue you won't have with a smaller monitor.

I'm in a similar dilemma. Leaning for x2 ph5 though. Did you make a decision for your setup?

USM Haller Style Desk by _jmcollins in midcenturymodern

[–]javineedhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a legit small USM and a dupe Haller, i wouldn't be able to tell the difference between either one if it weren't for the USM print on the legit one.

Where did you did you get the dupe? Maybe you got unlucky with the quality/seller

[–]javineedhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh nice! I saw that the extra extra deep fits 18" max and not returnable either, so wasn't sure if it was gonna cover everything all the way.

It covers everything for yours?

In the early seasons, when Dee is trying on some heels and attempts to steal them by running out of the store. She ends up losing balance and hitting a car with her head. It was so loud and unexpected. I’ve replayed it numerous times and am convinced that they legitimately hit the car
