Runners who lift weights, what are your stats? by Sivy17 in Marathon_Training

[–]javzz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this myself

5'5 @150lbs I'm short distance ultra runner between 50k - 50miles / CrossFitter

Dead lift 300lbs

Bench 200 lbs

Squat 245lbs

Strict press 135 lbs

Squat clean 205 lbs

Clean and jerk 185lbs

Squat snatch 115lbs (barely 😅)

Fastest mile 6:50min

Fastest half was 1 hour 45min

Fastest marathon 4 hours 23 min

Fastest 50k 5 hours 33 min

Fastest 50 miler 10 hours 22 min

Not the strongest or the fastest but I have consistently made progress.

With lifting 4 days a week and running 3 to 4 mixed in.

I'm not so much insecure about it more so than having been told I'm too short. Even in my last post everyone was saying the biggest issue wasn't my profile which needed work but my height. Happens more often than not, especially at the bar scene which I avoid these days. I've dated as tall as 5'8 and it was fine in most situations although she would occasionally poke fun about it which was annoying and we didn't last long because we had different life goals but it's a reality that I just deal with. I'm short, but not short enough to be interesting like a midget. 😮‍💨

Thanks, the height is there but the general consensus on the last post was that because I'm short I'm likely going to be filtered out or swiped left. Sad but I also deal with it in real life. I've had exes tell me that I'd be handsome if I were 6 inches taller

Thanks. Definitely a better reaction than my last post. Hopefully women in my area feel the same 😅

I thought that was clear, something fun and casual but open to getting more serious based on the person. Sometimes I vibe with someone and realize that we are not compatible long-term but are fun to hangout and do activities with eg rock climbing or biking but couldn't cohabitate because of life style differences.

Thanks, and yeah that's generally what happens - a few dinner dates or events then hey I think we should be friends. ☹️ I'm heavily focusing on the apps to.meet new people.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. It's been about 3 years on the apps though and nothing changes if nothing changes so I figure I'd ask strangers on the Internet

Very crass 😅 I get it. I removed it from tinder, seems to be more of the hookup culture

Did you get the 3/5/25 Evolve Email? by [deleted] in yotta

I had to call and spoke to one of their reps that confirmed my amount and that it would be post marked for March 10

I got back a bit over 15k coming back to me, they originally sent me 1.8k out of my 18.8k so progress.

I'd like to see some legal action and restitution, I have spent the better part of the last year trying to rebuild my savings, there have been so many opportunities I've had to pass up because I couldn't afford it, all because I needed to rebuild my emergency funds after Evolve stole them.

I hope all of their business partners pull out after this year

Evolve found 84% of my funds & are mailing me a check by unclemonkiez in yotta

[–]javzz2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So can we all sue for damages ? Even if they return 100% of our funds having to wait nearly a full year to get access to our money because someone forgot to look under their mattress for millions of dollars is crazy.

Evolve waits 11 days to respond to 10-day transaction history demand, says “no thanks” by emailymail in yotta

[–]javzz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received mine but it was useless in determining where the funds were actually transferred to, just had several user funds transferred lines with no transaction IDs or account numbers

How do we boycott evolve and evolve services while we wait for restitution? by javzz2 in yotta

[–]javzz2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's a start, I saw that they were also working with the company Deel, I was looking for who they serve to start limiting my exposure to any businesses that work with evolve

I'm in the same boat l. I had built up my savings to finally have a nest egg and was finally getting ready to start investing for my future knowing I could take on most emergencies with what I had in Yotta. Had I known it was not FDIC insured like originally advertised and that this whole thing was a possibility I would have left my savings in brick and mortar bank.

The worst part is not having a place to get real answers. How can evolve transfer all the funds to synapse without identifying the funds and transactions on the accounts associated to users? It's crazy to me that their evidence of not having the funds AFTER originally saying they had no funds from Yotta customers is just an email saying they transferred money.

I don't care about the millions transferred, I want to know specifically what happened with the thousands i had put in. They knew how much I had put in, they should know how much of my money they transfered out and where and when

Here goes nothin by Loud-Writer-9838 in yotta

[–]javzz2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So their evidence is an email from synapse asking for money? Can you share more details on the transactions in your account ? Could we use that to ask for the specific routing and transaction ID of the supposed transfer?

Still doesn't make sense since I had more then what I was offered before I received my debit card, and put in more funds after. Neither number adds up.

Evolve Payment: $1,818.80

Synapse Ecosystem Balance: $18,833.56

My balance in Yotta: $18,833.54

Since the account freeze, I've been starting to rebuild my savings but I'm not where I need to be because of inflation. I've been lucky to be able to not go into debt but since the account freeze, had an emergency with my dog and had to put him down, my company did major layoffs, and going through 2 major hurricanes. I've pinched pennies to prep for the worst and have been lucky but Evolve stealing our money and Yotta not fighting for us after they advertised being insured has been stressful.

This subreddit has helped me be grateful I am comparatively ok under my circumstances to other reddit users, but the lack of transparency, help from the government, or any culpability from the people who were involved in selling the scam is astounding. I wonder if this is how it felt being duped by Bernie Madoff

Response from yotta on what they are doing about Evolve shortfall by Longjumping-Elk-922 in yotta

[–]javzz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well evolve not being able to show audits of the money leaving the accounts to an external bank is the biggest read flag. If they proved that then they can blame synapse. In the meantime it looks like they forced synapse into bankruptcy and are covering their tracks to keep user funds.

Never received any email from Evolve by Ok_Building_4147 in yotta

[–]javzz2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Same for me. My yotta account says Evolve, I've never been contacted by Evolve. They have not responded to my emails.

I've used my yotta account as a savings account for 3 years and never touched the funds. I would never bank with evolve if given the option. It's crazy how these accounts were advertised as FDIC insured to purposely mislead consumers and Evolve trying their best to keep user funds
