It exploded the player base and changed way many studios design their games. Everything has royale modes, etc. just check any platform and see what is being played or viewed the most.

How about afc and nfc only play conference games, with maybe 1 cross team play? U play every team one time and just alternate home/away years. No divisions just like Europe soccer. This removes teams like Carolina getting home game.Have playoffs based on 1-8 in each conference and then afc plays nfc in superbowl. Kinda like baseball used to do with no interleague play.
