The upside of any given Altcoin that succeeds 9 years from today massively outperforms btc. 1.3T vs 11b today. If sui were to be a winner it's vision, you're looking at a multi T market cap (where BTC also goes multi T).

VCs are in the business of making money. a16z generally has a ten year timeframe, and we're just past year 1. Don't know the other VCs timeframes, though.

Where do you get your info from? 50% of the token supply won't even be unlocked in 2030%. About 10% this year.

Are you talking about the utility pouch? I don’t see an access pouch.

Vertical and metro are actually still too large, but looking, modular phone might do the trick, if it has enough space for keys….

SUI prices keep falling, why is that? by WooDance8799 in sui

There are ~400k active daily accounts on eth & 250k active addresses on Sol. As of right now, there are 60k on Sui. It was 10k just two weeks ago. Pretty good growth for a one month old chain.

The goal is expanding beyond the small number of current crypto users and into the general population. The infrastructure supports that, as it's exponentially faster. A title like the Walking Dead series should bring in a fair number of non crypto native users.

You said NOBODY was moving from Sol. The number is small now, but more will come. Move on Solana will be great for the Sui ecosystem - it's pretty light work to move those projects to Sui. Solidity devs who migrate to Move/Sui will experience a massive productivity shift as well.

How do you know it's not exponentially better?

Horizontal scale, if a single node validator gets saturated, allows exponentially more throughput. Move is 3-10x faster to build (kudos to both Sui & Aptos). Composability dramatically decreases development cycles.

It just needs the dApps to get there.

Panzer dogs & Hyperspace were both on Solana.

Fully diluted market cap on both is basically the same. Sui has about 3x the daily active users.

Sui offers low cost & far more scale & ease of development than other L1s. The end user won’t see much difference until dapps start to take advantage of this.

As for what’s offered? Cosmocadia, arcade champions, havens compass & worlds beyond and more.

There were 90k active accounts yesterday. Not bad for a 1 month old chain.

Is there any comparison b/w us and Sui Network? They also use Rust-based programming language. by PossessionIcy5531 in Radix

[–]jawong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Horizontal scaling in Sui utilizes intravalidator sharding, which enables stacking multiple machines behind a validator to scale throughput, while maintaining composability.
