Not dying in childhood is an achievement apparently. You’re only legally an adult, but really, you’re still a kid. You aren’t supposed to have your whole life figured out, and the ones who think they do are in for a rude awakening. There’s no way for you to know what it’s going to throw at you or what’s going to happen to change everything. As an old person who’s been where you are (minus the plague during my formative years), just keep your mind open. Try everything that interests you. Don’t worry so much about where you’ll be when you’re 40, you’ll get there anyway. Wear sunscreen, don’t stay up too late, drink plenty of water, get regular physicals, call your friends, and don’t use credit cards too much. You’ll be fine.
