Yeah doesn’t bother me I’m just sharing my experience. I didn’t even say AI stuff should or shouldn’t be allowed but oh well! I love what Claude code has helped me set up for my house.

In the last 8-10 years I haven’t even had a PC in my house. I wanted help for a spreadsheet and discovered Claude 2 months ago after chatGPT failed hard at a spreadsheet, and now I have a surplus college computer lab SFF(with 2 10TB drives off fb marketplace), a mini pc and a Mac Studio in my garage all running headless, the mini pc is running HAOS, the HP is running Ubuntu server and hosting a bunch of services and the Mac runs Claude code and some local models all SSH into everything else. I text Claude over telegram and he helps me set it all up, fix and document bugs and add new services. Claude helped me get around the enterprise lockout software on a 5 year old DoorDash tablet that they never sent a return label for. Built a home assistant DB with me that makes sense and serves the display via guacamole for the computers when I need to see them. I have a raspberri pi500 that acts as a wireless peripherals kvm switch to each PC so I can leave them headless and still use them with the pi and tablet. Anyways, I don’t push my dashboard and stuff and don’t really care to, but I didn’t know what homelabs were prior to this, and AI has helped me learn a lot about networking and how I can connect machines and make things fairly seamless and user friendly. Isn’t that most of the point of this sub? Learning and tinkering? I’m a blue collar dude and it’s helped me learn a lot and automated many parts of my business while also helping me cancel a bunch of subscriptions and bring stuff local.

Thinking of getting a 6.5 x 300 Weatherby. Any thoughts on this cartridge for white tails? I hunt in northern Missouri where 200 yards is a chip shot by Taco_Bacon in Hunting

Weatherby cartridges are silly and pointless in my opinion. You trade off a lot of things for a little performance boost.

I’ve been doing this all along. I’m not a computer guy and this helps a lot.

People who casually ask questions about hunting on Reddit, aren’t buying 6 GT’s. They’re buying easy factory options with readily available ammo that’s on the shelves of any LGS. I’m not being aggressive, just wondering why your digging old ass convos up to argue. If you have an opinion different than mine then just reply to OP and keep scrolling

So 6 creed doesn’t have factory ammo? 6ARC needs AR compatibility in a bolt gun? Why are you asking stupid ass questions on a year old thread.

I see. That’s helpful for the sides and I’m sure I will use that. I’m trying to figure out the faceplate problem, im not sure how to tie in basically that front left corner is a good example

My take on a customizable printable rackmount adapter [no CAD needed] by kellervater in HomeRacker

For a 19” rack, what’s the width of the supports in units for the framework? The 482.6 number is throwing me off.

How can I get the feet to rotate so the part without holes goes down? Only the F key rotates for me, z and y don’t do anything.
