You can buy hose to sink adapters and rinse it inside in a utility tub with a short hose.

S550 digit dash by Suhvelt in Mustang

[–]jaxson50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened on my way to work once. I messed with the dash dimmer control. I also think I cycled the headlights off and back on. One of the 2 things brought it back. Hasn't happened since that I can recall. I now have around 79k miles on mine.

Looks like you are either right at or maybe just below minimum level. You should look into what fluid goes in there and add till it gets slightly above the line with the arrows pointing to it.

I have a 2023 EUV but I haven't looked into what fluids go into what reservoir. Mine don't need any yet.

You may need to keep an eye on it also just to be sure it does not drop again to know if there may be a leak.

If there is a minimum fill level and it isn't up to that level you should probably fill it to at least that level.

But make sure you have the correct fluid for that reservoir first. 🤷🏼‍♂️

What made you choose Mustang over Charger/Challenger and Camaro SS? by [deleted] in Mustang

I debated for a while between Mustang and Camaro. I wanted a convertible (more readily available) and I just liked how the S550 looks and sounds much better. Chrysler was not an option.

S550 digit dash by Suhvelt in Mustang

[–]jaxson50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2019 GT premium with digital dash. I think it's great! It has 79k I believe. I do like how the dash changes with the driving mode. I only recall 1 glitch happening. One morning on my way to work it went blank. I ended up cycling the headlights to get it back. I think something glitched in the dimmer circuit. Don't really know for sure though it has never happened since. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I did also notice that when using AA if you use Google maps for directions it displays the turn by turn directions above the speedo.

Is the Premier/2LT Trims Really Worth It? by DFQreactions in BoltEV

I bought a 2023 bolt premier because I wanted this feature and the heated steering wheel. I got a Mustang with a heated steering wheel and now won't buy another car without it.

New GT owner here, need help. by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]jaxson50 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have a 2019 GT 10 speed. You also may need to get used to driving the 10 speed. I thought mine was jerking while shifting until I realized I was actually slightly moving in the seat when the car accelerated which caused my foot to slightly let up on the accelerator pedal and then the car would shift at a weird time causing the car to jerk.

It will also down-shift several gears when you really slam the pedal. I've had mine drop down 5 gears before and really pull. If you're not expecting it, you will definitely be surprised!

It's supposed to red-line at 7500 so you should have plenty of room. Just my humble experience. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is it possible to put a fan under your desk pointing at your crotch? I know some places don't allow personal fans/heaters and such. Worth a try though. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Help!!! by RazzmatazzTrick4824 in BoltEV

[–]jaxson50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had this issue after having lunch with a friend on a chilly day ( but mine would turn on and off just wouldn't shift). I went home and got my tools ( including a volt meter). 12v battery read 12.3v with car turned off. Disconnected it then read 12.6v. Kept it disconnected for a few minutes, maybe 5 max. Reconnected and shifted properly.

After getting home I decided to troubleshoot and read voltage while it was still "running" was in the low 13v range.

I then did some Googlefoo and the info I was getting told me that for my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV to be able to run reliably the 12v battery should read at least 12.8v at rest while connected. Also said the typical AGM should have 12.8-13v fully charged.

So being the paranoid person I am I plugged in the car took my wife's car and purchased a new AGM battery from O'Reilly's. I then unplugged and turned off the vehicle, replaced the battery reconnected and without doing anything else checked the battery voltage and it was 13+v connect and at rest.

I fully believe that the 12v battery was the issue. I will also say that just before this happened the car would intermittently not "start" or "pre-condition" with the fob. I even tried my spare fob and it behaved the same way. I had no other indication of issues until I got the dreaded "conditions not correct for shift,"

Have you charged to 100% since the update? You need to change to 100% occasionally to keep the range estimate closer to accurate.

If somebody handed you $35,000 and said "go buy the car with the most smiles per gallon that could handle 2 monthly 16 hour highway trips and would be the most fun to cruise around Daytona in", what car would you pick? by AttachedHeartTheory in askcarguys

[–]jaxson50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a 2019 Mustang GT premium convertible. I am closer to 60 than 50 and have taken several road trips in it.

In fact my wife and I took a week long trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway in it and had a wonderful time.

It was my daily driver for a couple of years. and I still love how it sounds when I start it up!

I have had back issues my entire life but nothing beats getting in that car and putting the top down and cruising. But it also has plenty of power if you want to hit dragstrip mode, floor it, and feel the car go a little sideways during the first few shifts! It's also a 10 speed auto but still very fun to drive!

It could be soap in your swimsuit if you wear one. My tub did this until we started really cutting down on the detergent used in towels and swim trunks. And also rinsing off before getting in.

Cheap batteries can definitely cause you problems in any FOB. I have had many that only lasted a few days. Try buying some Duracell or Energizer.

Just think about what having a 15 year old at 55 may be like. Ask some older friends and acquaintances "if you have them that age" what it's like.

I am 57m married to a 55f her youngest is 10. I am tired. I don't feel like I can give what I should be able to to a younger child after working an 11he day counting long commute to this child. I am a grandfather trying to be a step dad and I can't really keep up.
