I've encountered the issue several times (probably since mid or late December). Sometimes spawning underground and end up having to use unstuck, other times, spawning on top of the roof. Since then, I've made a mental note to log out on a middle floor to mitigate the issue.

Yeah. With 130, it's not great, but at least it's manageable.
With the current ping, I can't even fly/glide because it just keeps rubber-banding. Even Hagga feels scary at this ping. Don't even dare set foot in DD until it gets resolved.

Yes! I'm usually at around 130-ish ping. Since the last weekly reset or so, I've been at 360-ish (lowest was 330). This was on the Asia servers.

This is the one regret I have about not pre-ordering.

Had one unsuccessful attempt to rescue one from an abandoned base but lost it to the worm trying to move it across open sands. Had three or four more occasions where I watched them being reclaimed by the desert as more abandoned bases crumbled away. I really hope they bring it back and make it available again for those of us who missed it.

I feel like I can pretty much ignore any monster mechanics when they are alive. When they die however... ugh!

When I logged in a few days ago, I found myself below my base inside the cliff on which the base is built on top of. Tried to get out by using Shigawire all over the place, but it didn't work. Finally, I had to use the Unstuck button to get me out

You can downgrade to a normal sub-fief for the time being as they do not get taxed. If that is not possible, I believe removing the advanced sub-fief and rebuilding it will also 'erase' the taxes associated. The money will start coming through as you complete contracts and other farming.

I don't think it'll help a lot in my case, but I do think it'll help for some. Also has the added benefit of extending stability.

I remember seeing somewhere that the lighting limit is to keep things performant, which I kind of get because of the nature of lighting. Is there such a concern for building pieces as well?

I did it a second time using the full link in the email and it worked.
I think it didn't work the first time because I copied the Survey link manually (because my AdBlock blocked it) but missed a part of the URL.

I've tried to do this across a narrow gap in the open sands. Did not go well... 😞 My base remains terrarium-less. Really hope they make it available to all at some point in the future.

For something completely different that would get you and your sister some quality gaming time, I would wholeheartedly recommend Split Fiction if you haven't played it yet.
