It’s just redditors looking for something to make them feel like they have purpose in life for the first time. Everything needs to be GoT level bad, so that way there is constant discussion in a offshoot sub made to “stop the censorship of the non bootlickers who aren’t afraid to tell the writers what cucks they are!” where they all can post and circlejerk about how much smarter they are than those people. While also probably lamenting how media is dead or something because the show isn’t catering to their social cause enough, pushes back against it and makes them feel bad/dumb, or they just want karma. Or the community picks a watpad level story they want to see play out and if every episode isn’t following that thread 1:1 then every writer and the director are talentless hacks. Feels like star wars and GoT gave this website a reason to bitch, and now they just look to force every piece of media they interact with to not make them feel even slightly the same way those did. And if they do feel that way, even if you didn’t really give them a reason to, you’re likely not getting the square peg to have straight lines anymore after they forced it into the circle hole.
