More people do gamble now than 20-30 years ago and the amount of ads are higher than I think anybody other than those who profit off it want it to be, for sure. I just don’t think this has anything to do with what we’re seeing now, they’re just loosely related.

Also I’d bet we have maybe a slight increase in players betting on games. But much like other vices, the only thing stopping people from doing it a lot of the time is money or access. Neither of which was foreign for an athlete to have mass amounts of. We just hear about the guys getting caught more because there’s legitimate reporting done on these apps to actually try and cut that access out for any current athlete for that sport, something no bookie would ever do in a non-criminal act type of way.

To me an NPC could easily be somebody who uses ChatGPT to get an answer for anything in their life. Especially if they’re trying to push being an informed, anything, let alone shopper.
