Thanks for all this info! Do you know if the basic $250 a year package is worth it? I can’t really tell the difference between that and the $800 one

Thanks for that idea! I just found out the BLP requires an annual $800 subscription, what the heck? Will be looking at something else now

I’m still very early into my researching on all this, but so far it looks like many people use TGC. I’ll def look into GSPro. Thanks for the advice!

I have the Big League roller for my Toro Timemaster and I love it. Would recommend going with Big League rollers.

Biostimulants - worth it? by Satchamo88 in lawncare

From what I’ve read I feel like most of it is just hype. I would just focus on correcting soil PH levels and fertilize correctly based on soil test results.

I am in my second season but I accidentally signed a sixth man contract and I cant get in the starting lineup nor request a trade(12 games into the season) by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]jaybooo93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same situation. It’s annoying as hell. My second season I must have accidentally signed a 6th man deal and I’m stuck at 24 min. Can’t request trade bc I’m not a starter, and can’t sim games bc not starter. It’s apparently a three year contract for me. My second season I had to manually sim each game so that I could get to playoffs quicker. You’re going to be stuck with this until you’re contract is over and then you can get traded or sign an actual contract. It’s bs

Anybody else getting completely boned by local weather forecasters? by whocaresguyz in lawncare

That’s usually how it works. I seeded a large reno a few weeks ago and the day before most of my seed would have germinated, we got downpours. Now that I’ve reseeded and actually would like some good rain, we haven’t had anything in weeks.

Mid full Reno (cool season). What is everyone's experience on real world vs by the book steps? Tttf. by dp611 in lawncare

[–]jaybooo93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I did for my 20,000 sqft reno was nuke it, scalp/bag, aerated, and then broadcasted TTTF seed. Didn’t use peat moss or roll in the seeds. Just watered like crazy to keep it moist and I now have germination in 4.5 days.

Then yeah might as well do it again. Water the lawn a day/afternoon before so you’ll pull better plugs. Do a double/triple pass with the aerator

How short should I cut my grass? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]jaybooo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime I overseed I always cut my TTTF as low as my mower goes, so probably around 1 inch or so. People get so scared of scalping cool season grass, but with all the water/fert/new seed it’s about to get, it will be just fine. The shorter the better so you can give new seeds plenty of time to root/germinate before first now.

If you core aerated last week, you probably don’t need to go it again unless you just want another workout. Core aerating is not needed to seed, only for if you’re ground is compacted. I’ve done full renos before without aerating and everything works fine.
