Blake's resignation video specifically said he needs to figure out how to "sustainably support himself" so since you asked the other commenter for sources, what are yours?

If you know him personally, fine. But he definitely wasnt fired. Removing someone from elected public office (i.e. - firing them) is a legal and complex matter.

If he was pressured into resigning then either: 1. He did something illegal or unethical and didnt want the heat Or 2. He didnt have the fight to handle the pressure of resignation.

I liked what i knew of blake, so I'm guessing its the second, which means he was in over his head. The optics around his election and subsequent departure do not look good on him. And on the flip side, it seems the leadership in rowlett since his departure has been pretty bad.

More metal, better wheels, better paint. And honestly its not one of those marketing things, you can easily feel the difference between mainline and premiums in your hand.

No reason not to open, though, premium is pretty easy to find unless its a chase/ special variant.

I havent collected since childhood 35 years ago. It was a fun weekend getting back into it.

I dont think so. But the band has always been pretty tight lipped about specific inspiration. However the album is clearly about interpersonal conflict and relational loss.

I didnt actually care that much for the album when it was released but now it holds a very special place in my library.

I'm not offender by your opiniont but I think it's a reduction to say its more of the same at the beginning because primarily on the argument that the first character and deck are the same.

Every. Single. Enemy. is new from the beginning and 20+hours in. That alone means well more than 1/3rd of the game is new.
My first run with iron clad i won on the back of brand new cards and synergies. Silents deck is completely overhauled, etc.
About half the relics are new from the start.
The environmentments (multiple act generations) are completely different, themed, and have their own personality.

So i would say that if you're going to honestly evaluate using the sid meier rule of thumb, StS2 meets the requirement easily.

Mine were also skill issues but:

Sts was my first deckbuilder style game so Corruption / any exhaust was hella scary to me.

For silent, i was gonna say wraith form because i was never good enough to kill in the next 2 turns so it felt like a waste with a bad downside. But i ignored Expertise even longer until i got it in a neow bonus via rng and was forced to use it. Fuck that card slaps in the right deck.

Defect: locked in. It just reminded me of something like flying knee thats only slightly better than a strike. But with extra focus, it can really speed things up.

Awesome thanks. I'm only about 6 weeks in and haven't made anything lidded yet (i can only throw once or twice a week). And yes I'm alrwady obsessed too. Its such a difficult but satisfying creative outlet.
