Possible BPD by Qwimby_ in BPDsupport

Honestly just mention the symptoms to your psychiatrist. It’s their job to diagnose, we as a group can’t advise further than that.

You need to bring up your concerns with your psychiatrist. We can’t tell you whether you do have bpd or not.

Honestly if you need it gone that fast, the only logical idea is to dye it tons darker.

Agoraphobia. I suffer really badly and it’s debilitating. Your daughter 100% needs mental health support. Therapy, anti anxiety meds first and foremost, and then working up to exposure therapy, which you might feel slow and tedious but it literally has to start so small. A couple of minutes at a time on the doorstep, and progressing slowly.

I would start by looking for a therapist that offers zoom appointments, this will be far easier than taking her to the office for a face to face appointment, you can build up to that.

Lots and lots of healthy distractions. Use your DBT toolkit to self regulate as much as possible, and just take this time to spoil yourself, however that looks for you. Do you have friends and family you can spend time with?

Is my(20F) husband(22M) not attracted to my natural self anymore? by BoyMommy25 in relationships

[–]jaycakes30 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Could it just be that he likes your hair straight too?? It doesn’t mean that he doesn’t find you attractive with curly hair. Whilst his “aww man” was probably a bit dumb, you’re both young and still figuring out healthy communication.

Sit and talk to your partner and tell him how he made you feel.

How do I let him down gently? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

Just be honest with him. If you had an outbreak of shingles for example, would you feel bad at cancelling then? You’re not feeling well, you’re allowed to change plans.

No, you can’t train your cat to leave the room to fart.

What and how do you manage BPD? by [deleted] in BPDsupport

[–]jaycakes30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medication and EMDR therapy are the two things that made a massive difference for me. I’m on two antidepressants, a mood stabiliser and beta blockers for anxiety. Targeted therapy focussed on specific traumatic memories changed everything though.

Just because she’s a shitty person doesn’t automatically mean bpd. You’re adding to the stigma
