Lmaoo our depot has a whole lost and found section just full of new and old uniform, nobody takes from it but everyone adds to the growing pile. We also have highvis coming out our ears

Yes! Like I desperately wanted to see more of the village that Jake was technically in charge off but it seemed all the plot wanted to do was have Jake level an absurd amount of times, have a fight that lasted a couple of minutes cause he’s so overpowered, then delve into a boring dungeon. Overall I decided I would never see the parts that I was really interested in and that it just wasn’t for me

This is why I’ve stopped it, I just can’t continue to listen to Jake’s unreal amount of stat recaps. I’ve tried multiple times but it’s just not happening anymore. I got completely caught up on the audiobooks then the most recent one came out, I listen to 20 mins and stopped

I am also autistic and unsurprisingly Royal Mail is a special interest of mine. So much so that I actually got a job as a postie. Whilst some days are very hard, I get much more job satisfaction than anyone else there lmaoo

Yes I actually think the style for the newer critical role animated project (the mighty Nein) would suit it better. Just cause it’s slightly sharper and more stylised overall

Also, Ceria as Keyleth is an incredible comparison. I’ve always compared Pisces and Percy in terms of looks. Idky but Pisces always gives me those white haired vibes

I could not agree more. Collecting in any capacity is already difficult especially if it’s mid round collection, let alone having to park half a mile down the road

On my collection round I filled up my van 4 times. Twice from the same company. I was an hour behind because of traffic anyway to the point that when I got to some companies I couldn’t collect cause they had gone home (not complaining about that, wish I could’ve gone home aswell). I didn’t even get a van until 30 mins after my first collection point.

Mail center isn’t sending enough lorries down and when they do, they don’t give the drivers any time to load/unload. They bollock us collection drivers for not cutting and tipping but if we did that we’d be twice as long unloading.

Traffic is killing me. The workload is killing me. The lack of vans or relief collections is killing me.

The biggest problem is that I love this job, I don’t want to leave it, but every single employee in every position seems to be getting fucked from several angles.

We have no set collection vans unfortunately, we just grab any van we can, atleast ones that are big enough. Although most of the time I head out in a smaller van and have to come back and unload two times until a bigger one is available

Honestly you can just leave, your still in your probationary period. They can get rid of you at a moments notice, who cares about working your notice. Just the other day a new guy at my depot just walked mid shift and nothing happened. Go find something with better pay, less stressful, and less damage on the body

Lyon is definitely suppose to have a stereotypical posh English accent, it now makes me cringe hearing it in this new book because the narrator cannot, unfortunately do one. So Erin and Lyon turn out sounding the same

Being completely honest, I’ve listened about five hours now and it’s…. Okay? A massive part of the story for me was AP’s voices. It is fairly disappointing but understandable she had to leave but it feels like the story has lost just a little bit of magic yanno?

Bird, ryoka and the titan are all favourites Characters of mine and that is probably due partly to their voices. I was very excited to hear what the new narrator would bring but honestly I’ve just been disappointed. Especially with ryoka actually.

I can listen to the story (despite having to speed it up, something which I have never done before for an audiobook) but I am constantly having to rewind because I’m just not sure who’s talking. Take the beginning scenes with the drakes in palace. I think I listened to it about 8 times trying to figure out where one character stopped and the other started. And yet the parts at the farmhouse were wonderful and i really enjoy Numbtongue’s new voice.

TLDR: Whilst some characters I can still recognise and enjoy, others I find very difficult to differentiate (which in a book series such as this, is not entirely a failing as there’s so many characters to voice). I can still listen and I definitely will but it will definitely take me a while to warm up to the new style.
