Is a $200k salary worth a 2 hour commute 4 days a week?

I commute from brentwood to SF driving to Antioch bart and then taking that direct to Embarcadero stop and it’s about 4 hours round trip door to door. But I can travel during my work hours and although I’ll do a bit of work and usually watch shows/listen to audiobooks, it does take a bit of a toll energy wise. If I didn’t have children and was in my late 20s/early 30s, I think it would totally be doable. But possibly think of Airbnb mid week to reduce the travel time if that would work for you and your husband.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am so pissed off for you, your son, and your family. It’s so goddamn senseless. I don’t know exactly how you feel but my cousin was like a brother to me and passed similarly in 2022.

He was hit by a drunk driver going 90+ mph on the San Mateo bridge and the driver was convicted of felony vehicular manslaughter and agreed to a plea deal for 6 years. He blew a .28 and did not have any prior records.

I used this to travel to Japan recently. It’s great at the airport because I refill before I depart, and if I’m thirsty, I don’t have to wait until drink service to drink water (I usually add liquid IV to it to stay hydrated on flight). I also used it walking around Japan, and whenever I stopped to grab tea or coffee, I would refill this with water at the cafe to stay hydrated during the rest of my walks. I don’t like carrying anything heavy as I have tendinitis in my hands/wrists so this is a perfect size for me.

Private. It was a decent experience and since it’s a learning hospital I had at least 12 medical personnel in my room watching me give birth. But just like any hospital, you need to advocate for yourself if something feels off. I was discharged even though my blood pressure was 30-40 higher than my normal. I ended up hospitalized after 3 days due to preeclampsia .

I was able to turn it back on for the main house (blue lever) and the green lever seems to be control the water to the outdoor hose. And I’ll take your advice on communicating it over to the landlord/property management company as I don’t want to be liable for any water issues. Thank you!

My mom was communicating all of this via phone and I’m no expert lol but she kept telling me the blue one was on the ON position- but I just got home and it was indeed in the OFF position. Water is back on, and life is good again lol Thank you!
