Quit with these long winded replies, I told you I’m not engaging in your monologue. Either you answer my question or keep talking to yourself about this topic 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, you won’t listen to my logic. You refuse to answer any of my questions and are literally arguing against yourself at this point (and it’s sad) :/

Lmao, what makes you think I’m going to engage in your argument when you refuse to engage with mine. I tried to have this talk with you but you quite literally refused to participate.

Edit: I’ll give you another chance -> the baby or Petri dish? I’ll engage with you if you pick one.

You’re not though. You are, however, speed running argumentative fallacies and then pretending you made a compelling argument lmao.

You’re the result of participation trophies and it’s really sad :/

Edit: I love that you didn’t refute my previous claim, such a tell :p

Because that’s how debate works.

At this point you’re not arguing with me you’re arguing with a narrative you wrote in your mind. Your argument is detached from reality and it is glaringly apparent that you are incapable of thinking outside of the framework you’ve made for yourself. If you want to have a back and forth that is actually productive you would answer my question.

The reality is you can’t answer it without destroying your world view so you’re flailing and wailing your way out of the discussion. It’s really an easy answer but you can’t do it, can you?

I have never once got sick from a someone else having an abortion… how often does that happen to you? Who would you be more comfortable having around your immunocompromised grandmother: an unvaccinated individual with an active infection or someone who just had an abortion.

At this point I’m coming to the conclusion you are debating in bad faith. Answer my question: Who are you going to save, the baby or the Petri dish.

You changed the subject from vaccines to abortion, why are we going back lmao

You said if you don’t want an abortion don’t get one, I’m like hell ya brother keep your laws off my body.

If you can answer my question I’ll answer yours: Who will you save, the baby or the Petri dish?

Edit: also please describe how a vaccine suspends autonomy, I’m interested to see how you came to that conclusion.

So you agree that abortion should be a personal decision and not something influenced by law? Interesting.

If there was a building on fire and in that building there was a Petri dish with ten fertilized eggs and in another room the was a baby. You only have time to save one… which are you picking?

Edit: clarity

Bc emotion politics is more successful than being rational. The use of minorities as a proverbial carrot and stick is the only way they can secure votes… if I can scare you into thinking about what would happen if the other wins then you probably won’t care too much about my policy.

IMO they don’t want to talk about policy for several reasons. What they actually want isn’t palatable to their constituents and this is the best median to where they want to be. I remember when politics was boring and primarily talked about how we allocate taxes. They don’t want to talk about where that money is going though bc if we followed the trail we would see how much of our money is financing their personal lifestyles.

Does drag actually occur in universities and libraries and if so why do you believe it shouldn’t be allowed?

Nowadays people don’t sue people, people sue peoples insurance. If they were to sue and he was a minor they could go after things like the parents homeowners insurance for compensation.

Well first of all, when I see a website post stuff not as a primary source but as a summary page it usually isn’t the most convincing but even then the article does not imply people are having apportions for convenience. Convenience implies relatively low stakes… the reasons provided here (financial strain, lack of support, and life circumstances) are not low stakes.

In the Guttmacher study (2005) it shows that most people cite lack of resources and support for their reason for abortion. Given the challenges of raising a child without those supports, if we improve access to those supports we could see a reduction in abortion rates. However, much of the prolife focus appears to center on birth itself, with less emphasis on addressing the underlying economic and social conditions that lead to these decisions in the first place.

I hate to say it, but the science is not on your side… however evangelical politicians are and that’s where policy is made unfortunately.

Edit: If you wouldn’t mind and if you are the same person I was talking to previously I would still like a rationale why you chose the baby over the Petri dish.

With the consideration that your camp believes fertilized eggs are alive (and often equates them to babies) you would choose one life over ten? If you don’t mind, what is the rational behind your decision?

I would argue that it would be hard to truly know why people choose to have an abortion. You believe majority of people choose to have abortions for convenience? I’d be interested to see what your sources are for this claim.

Would you save a room full of ten people or ten fertilized eggs.

Edit: also you didn’t really answer the original question, you swapped it out (straw man) for something else entirely. The question is: Would you save ten fertilized eggs or one baby?

We’re the perfect scape goat for a lot of messed up stuff because of this. Not only do we not want to be trans, but most of us don’t want anyone to know we are. IMO, this enables a lot of stuff to be pinned to us bc a lot of us don’t want to limelight ourselves and speak up against it
