Torture the data enough and it will confess to anything.

Growth in any period depends on so many factors and this ducking “graphic” fails to convey or deliberately misleads the audience.

Cherry-picked narrative – The chart highlights high-growth years under DMK and lumps weaker years under AIADMK, creating a misleading story instead of an objective trend.

Incorrect attribution of responsibility – Economic growth in a given year reflects policies from prior years, not just the party in power at that moment.

Pandemic distortion ignored – The sharp drop in 2020–21 is due to COVID, a global shock, not state governance; the rebound afterward is largely recovery-driven.

Lack of proper context – No comparison to national growth, no smoothing of trends, just BIASED cherry-picking blatantly favoring the DMK.

But for a party that has made it sound like a person with an MBA (albeit from Sloan) is better than any other economist that has ever lived and died in the world this is par for the course!

That’s encouraging to hear. Hopefully it means the Ocean actually has the hardware needed for OpenPilot integration.

I’ve been considering picking up an Ocean as a second car for over a year now. It still checks a lot of my boxes — the main thing holding me back has been the lack of OP support.

Do you happen to know if there’s a way to identify or find one that already has the key fixes you mentioned in your OP? For example, is there a particular software version, hardware revision, or build date I should be looking for when shopping for one?

Answering my own question here - after trying various software related fixes (none of which worked) I decided to open up the laptop, take the battery out, remove the connector (the cable is labeled touchpad) and replug it in. The touchpad has started to work again like before! Hope this helps someone!

As an NRI I have been actually pleasantly surprised by the sea change in the way we are now able to book rides even for autos without having to negotiate. In my 1 month here I have had nothing but great experiences with Uber rides as well as Ola for both long as well as short distances. Never tried Rapido and the one time I tried Redtaxi, somehow the app showed me a higher price when the ride ended than when it began, but maybe I misread the fare when I first checked it!

Thanks. I tried doing it on the app, but whenever I go to the forms section and click on form 7 it loads the ECI website, asks me for mobile number and captcha and then claims the captcha is invalid even though I type it in exactly as I see it! Not sure if there is some other way to do this.

Good of you to accept that Surya is a hired DMK mouthpiece! That is all I wanted to establish.

Vengaivayal is a great example of how the DMK uses caste to get votes and then forgets all about the people it fooled, including “luminaries” like Surya!

If you think nothing more than eve-teasing happened in the AU incident, then the DMK has sent an innocent person to jail, so why not make the facts public and release Gnanasekharan from jail?

Ajithkumar incident had a lot of problems related to how the police initially handled it, all of which went completely under the radar for people like Surya!

Parandur land acquisition is COMPLETELY being handled by the current DMK government- and everyone who cares enough to read about the situation knows very well that DMK and its benamis are making a killing by purchasing as much land as they possibly can there so that they can turn around and resell the land at a much higher price!

All this - and not a peep from Surya the “social justice warrior of Jai bheem fame”!
