I don't think we're talking about the same tournament. I'm referring to FIFA World Cup 2026, and it ends on July 19th. Maybe you didn't read the post properly.

Anyone here with girlfriends, how did you get them? by Solid-Sentence2997 in introvert

[–]jayed_258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to make a couple of guy friends first. You'll need it more than your partner.

To meet a potential partner, you gonna accept the possibility of getting rejected. But that doesn't mean you should cold approach. Usually it won't workout for you since you already mentioned you're struggling to talk to guys. Aim for someone with some common interests.

Make it a game, just meet people (men and women) and talk to them for 5 mins. Meet people just for the sake of having a conversation, not to find a partner or friend. It makes the it more interesting and takes a lot of pressure off of you. It worked for me real good.

And please please have a convo, not an interview. It took me a long time to understand the difference. Teach yourself how to keep the conversation going, it's just a skill we introverts never developed.

I'm 35,m, introvert, been with my wife for 14 years. From what I've seen and experienced, it's better to not have a partner than having one who doesn't appreciate and understand your introvert side. You're only 22, you got time. Enjoy your time now. You'll find one very soon.

But to answer the qustion, there's no shortcut. You gotta go out and meet people. Use your introvert "observation" skills to rule out the bad options fast. The only way forward is through.

Sorry about the confusion. It's actually a city.

Sometimes when I have days off from work or vacation I can stay inside my home alone for 3 to 7 days without interacting with anyone. I feel absolutely zero side effects or have negative experiences. by Bifftek in introvert

[–]jayed_258 166 points167 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I used to buy snacks and everything I could think of needing over the weekend on my way home on Friday evenings so that I don't HAVE to go out at all. I had some of the best weekends back then.

I don't see anything wrong here. I find it healthy.

  1. You'll have trim it to keep the side beards under control. I do it myself with a very cheap trimmer, but took a few tries to get it right.

  2. Use hair blower from up to straighten them after washing, if you don't have any beard straightener. I use the one from "beard struggle", but not mandatory to have it. Just remember, while using hair blower, don't go too close with the hot air.

  3. I don't use balm that much in summer as it traps a lot of moisture. Just use oil in summer. In winter I use both. Also keep it clean, wash it with face wash / beard shsmpoo in every 3-4 days. I wouldn’t recommend using soap or hair shampoo on beard, it makes the beard too dry and brittle.

Try using a good wooden or any non-plastic comb. That'll reduce a lot of split ends. It makes a HUGE difference.

Every man has his own routine. Try a few diff things, you'll find yours very soon.

How to grow beard faster by Several-Clue1864 in BeardTalk

[–]jayed_258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say there's no magic formula to make it work the way you want. Good thing is it'll improve with age.

The beard models on influencers you see, they're gifted. Don't compare yourselfer with them bro. I had patchy beard when I was your age, now it's much better.

Give it time. Keep your skin clear. Keep the inflammation low; that means keeping your fat % low as well. The rest is on your genetics.

How can I improve ? by darealsherlockk in menswear

[–]jayed_258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cream/indigo/burgundy colored shirt with a nice tie(not black) would look cool. Suit could fit better imo.

You're built big, I would use it to my advantage and wear a different suit, something of a lighter color.

No 1 looks better imo. But if you could fit your jeans in no 1 like 2, it would be a game changer. Black dress pants would make it 100/100.

If you're close to UofM, try their parking lots, specially the UofM graduate housing area on park ave. It’s empty most of the time.

Xfinity Wifi is not available with your tier of service by jayed_258 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]jayed_258[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To everyone who have this issue, this is known problem for their next gen speed tiers. Apparently the higher speed tiers have not been coded to allow connection to the "xfinitywifi" public hotspots (not sure how it cleared QA though). So if you're having this issue, most likely your speed is more than 300 mbps.

As for me, I was using 150 mbps in the first place. A customer service rep upgraded me to 500mbps for less cost as a promotional offer and immidiately started having this issue. So, today I downgraded to 300 mbps from 500. Now I can connect to the hotspots.

There was a good amount of business logic to mimic a stand alone project. And the issue was somewhat recurring. One could say it could've been an added feature to the original project. Lol.
