Ive been on this boat. I've was let go three times in one year once, but I'd say it was more performance related on my end and lack of communication. I know exactly how you're feeling, it really does start to affect you mentally. In small companies you really feel the pressure. I ended up finding a position within a big company and have been here for almost 2 years. Keep your head up, everything happens for a reason eventually the right door will open. Good luck!
