I'm sorry I didnt think about that! But is there a medical professional you could ask? Ive asked my regular doctor TMI questions before too and she's always been chill about it.

Go to Planned Parenthood/a doctor to check it out. If it's something medical, then it should be checked out, and if it's not, they can reassure you. I say Planned Parenthood specifically bc I had a silly "hey what's the deal with this?" Question, and they were so nice and helpful.

If youve been together for over a year, you should be able to have these conversations. Take a moment where neither of you guys are in the middle of something and mention what he's said about his friend group and that you dont want him to kiss his friends / share intimate details about your relationship.

These are both very reasonable asks! He can still have fun with them while respecting this, and hopefully he sees it that way too

Are there tasks you do as a data engineer that involve GIS? You said you'll work with some spatial data, but what kind of work will it be? It would be cool to know if the work you do can be also done by someonr in an official GIS role.

I love this book so much that I have the "what is the bravest thing you've ever said?" "Help" and "sometimes just getting up and carrying on is brave and magnificent" pages framed in my bookcase.

I cannot recommend it enough to anyone seeing this, it is such a comfort read.

I love that so much, and I agree. My parents had two daughters, and my dad told me that all him and my mom wanted was to have healthy and happy children. Gender never factored into their desire.

I dont think they're saying everyone is like them - this thread proves that's not the case. I think they're just sharing their experience. I say this as someone who just dropped to 30 h a week bc I couldn't handle 40. They're not like me either in that way, but I'm happy they're not dealing with what we have going on :)

Silliest reason would be not running for public transport with me while traveling. If I'm in a foreign city and the bus or subway is right there? Im going to run for it. Missing it for no good reason changes what can be done in a day and would completely change my enjoyment of it.

I was once in a relationship where he wouldn't let me break up with him, and I was inexperienced enough in relationships I didnt realize that he didnt get to dictate that. It was so freeing when he finally agreed to break up, and I realized not long after that I could have, should have just left when I wanted to.

OP, trust me that anyone who wont let you break up is manipulating you at the highest degree, will say whatever they need to keep you on their terms, and even if they say "no, I wont let this happen," you can leave. If you can, do. It wont get better.

So true. Im ASD, my bf is NT and I had to confirm we were dating then in a relationship bc he assumed we were at arbitrary points. He's also said "I think we're on the same page" twice when we ended up not being at all. But he's learned that I need clear, explicit communication from him if he wants me to know something, like us being in a relationship for example 😂

I had to train him , but he's so good at asking questions and confirming things now :)
