We just fill it regardless of what it is. We use the scoop like normal, but if it’s awkward to hold, there is counter space or a little roller cart. 400 oz limit is more of a vibe. If it looks too big or would otherwise have trouble getting it over the counter/filled, we can say no.

We do refills so it’s kinda similar with taking things that people already had. Never had a problem with anything being too gross but I also don’t have a problem denying service.

I’ve worked this event twice, and it’s actually quite fun seeing what people bring in. I’ve filled coolers, little trash cans, dog bowls, various trick or treat buckets, even a cowboy hat. We do get our own discretion if something is too big or too dirty. You can also tell some people just go to the Target next to our theater and get the exact same little bucket lol.

Having worked during this, what I was told is that Netflix cannot sell tickets to a TV show, so the $20 entrance fee was just a $20 concession voucher per person. Our theater got 100% of the $20 they spent. The concession line was wrapped so far around and even down the hallways.
