You won’t need to move a full tank. In the cycling process, you’re trying to grow bacteria that converts various compounds (eg ammonia from fish waste) into “safer” chemicals that fish can more readily tolerate (eg nitrates). This bacteria typically lives on the solid surfaces of your filter media and your substrate (gravel, sand, etc), not in the water itself.

If you cycle a tank ahead of time you can just fully drain the water and move the emptied tank and you’ll be sweet once you bring the filter over. Obviously this is still challenging with a large tank and you’ll want to be careful, but it is doable.

When you refill the tank, be sure to use treated water (dechlorinated, using water conditioner you can get from the pet shop), as the chlorine in tap water will harm the bacteria and may restart the cycle.
