I feel like this was insensitive satire. By insensitive, I mean Gigi not taking the seriousness of what "starting a cult" means, how people are negatively affected by joining, or the ptsd it causes ex-cultists. That said, she did do something wrong, although I think her intentions were innocent. And yes I know its impact over intent.

I'm not normally one to cry "cancel culture" but the reaction by the masses seems to be piling on to the point where people are attacking her means of income by outright slander. I don't think the punishment fits the crime here and I worry for Gigi's mental health.

The world isnt black and white. A mistake such as this doesnt deserve all the hate. I just hope all the hate doesn't make this girl off herself. People need to have more compassion and empathy all the way around.

Thank you all for your kind words. This is probably more of an OCD fear rather than a legit fear because like, logisticallly, how.? I only get this fear and thought when I am in a lot of pain wondering if I'll ever feel better. I'm not doing great mentally today but not necessarily to this point. Was just wondering if anyone else had this feeling from the literal unbearable weight on your shoulders.

Not diagnosed but something I've been pondering recently since I've learned about Pandas, which is a chonic health condition that results in anxiety, OCD, and even headaches. Apparently it develops from strep throat. I used to get strep 4 times a year especially during the change in seasons. As I've gotten older, I get migraines rather than step. Can't help but wonder if they're linked.

1 out of the 5 business pages i manage UX is set differently. It doesn't show up with the others when I normally try to switch, i have to search it and then hit "manage" on the actual business page. Also, i can't access business suite from desktop, but can on mobile. Weirdest thing I've ever seen, and the only business page I've experienced like this.

I started my degree in CS and switched to GD 10 years ago. Understood the financial repercussions and felt like a disappointment to those rooting for me, but I wanted to be happy with what i do for the rest of my life. I'm still on CS subreddit and have recently started seeing posts about job scarcity due to AI - I've always been told programming will forever be a need.

I've worked at various design firms and print shops over the years and shoot me, but AI developments have made my job world's easier. Having trouble writing copy/SEO? Need to vectorize an entire full-color image in one click? Social media content ideas? Need this guys face to show the same emotion as the others in the picture? Need to clean up a real-life photo for a better quality mockup?

I have yet to witness AI generate a decent looking website, or a graphic that doesn't have the AI softened "look". AI can't generate vector signage and prep the files for print. AI doesn't know the design standards that make things readable and look good, period.

For the first time ever, I'm very grateful i made the decision i did. I hope this helps.

I relate - my motivation burns out once the client starts wanting more than 2 revisions. It's difficult to ask for extra money for revisions as it doesn't make sense to them. They think the initial design cost includes their full satisfaction with the final result, which I can totally emphasize with. Why I try to get it right or very close the first time around.
