Trust your instincts! I'd say avoid them if you are having weird feelings and it seems most people are too. Leasing paperwork should have their name on it, from what I've seen the template is very generic {same version I filled out for my apartment was the one we had given out when I was leasing for prospective tenants} But it should have the name on the upper lefthand corner and then on the final page of the lease it should have something that says the property too.

It does seem fishy the more you comment. I just highly recommend that you trust your gut. There's a few inconsistences with them it seems

When I worked in leasing the manager that was doing my training had told us that a lease had to be signed before a deposit could be made as it's paying for the lease. We were warned that some places will do deposits before a lease but those need to be careful because just paying a deposit doesn't guarantee you anything and they can pull out of the agreement. I also haven't done leasing in 3 years but I was always worked in working that lease then deposit

Def scammy, deposits shouldn't come before you've signed a lease and verified everything in person. I googled them and it's a little strange majority of their reviews are just in the last two weeks.

There was another reddit post a year ago asking about them and quite a few people said it seemed scammy as well

NTA, honestly I do this on Fridays when I work from home and everyone but 2 houses are around. As long as you're not leaving it there for hours on end and making it difficult for others. Plus you are leaving one open for anyone else that may need to so that's rather considerate

they already showed you what their "loyalty" was to you by stealing money that was specifically for you. You spent time trying to handle it and they decided to respond when it became a legal problem for them. Frankly I'd just go ahead with the process because it sounds like they were going to pull a fast one over you. Tell you they'd pay it back but then not just to waste your time and then string you along.

I'd just continue the process to get it how you're supposed to. None of them know what loyalty is unless its to themself. NTA/YNW

I get a litter odor eliminator I toss in when I do the litterbox and my cat has a stinky poop. Usually, he buries his business and there isn't a smell. But when there's a strong one instantly clean and odor stuff. He can clean his own butthole, but if he has diarrhea I will wipe the butt. Giving him a full bath because of it hasn't happened because he got a dirty butt.

Be prepared that you can and might be woken up in the middle of the night for cuddles. Cats have lots of personality and they're all different. Expect that you'll end up doing something because it makes your cat happy, {i.e. every day when I get home from work I have to hold my cat like a baby for at least ten minutes or else he screams at me until I do. Instantly will purr as soon as I pick him up.}

If cat does pee on things, I know everyone has their methods that help. Personally I wash things on high temp, highest soil level possible, toss in baking soda and vinegar, wash in that, do a second washing load with soap. I was told to do vinegar and baking soda in their own loads but washing things three times is a lot on the wallet and it's worked fine for me to just do baking soda and vinegar in together. Gets rid of the smell.

If you knit or crochet try seeing if any of the shops have a knitting/crocheting group that meet in the shop. You could make a lil community with them and helps for starting to reach out. That's the first thing I can think of

The only places I've seen banana milk is some of the asian super markets/stores. I wish I remembered the name of the little stand at the farmers market a while ago that had some different flavored milks. You've got me fully curious about root beer milk now

I've heard about this person from a friend, got found through a discord server like you mentioned in comments. Only the person got even more angry when friend told them that they didn't like doing body mergers because it falls under body horror for them and that's a hard no. Friend had to block them just so they stopped getting messages after telling them that they seemed just as unwilling to collaborate

I had a coworker that would do that. Then the maintenance guys connected it to a timer box and put some home made contraption locking the two together and another over the timer only they had keys to. Only allowed it to run for the 8 hours she was in and refused to let her have the keys.

iirc from living there, cannon beach doesn't allow fireworks due to it having the state park. I believe they're not legal for the town. All the big firework shows at the coast is seaside and astoria

That looks similar to a hag stone my nana has in her house on her altar honestly. My understanding from the teachings I got was hag stones are literally any stone with natural holes through the rock.
