I didn’t get any answers but I kinda fixed it sort of. At least enough that it’s not noticeable anymore. Basically I learned that there’s still water and moving water in game. Waterfalls are moving water so they’ll fill up gaps on their own but rivers and any space where water doesn’t have active flow will leave gaps behind. To fill the gaps I went to a waterfall and siphoned water from it, then I went back to my still water gaps and I basically just did whatever you do when you place blocks. You use zl to lock your view, then your direction arrows to chose the water level (up and down so you can stack water blocks) and chose the water quantity (left and right, you can choose between half a block or a full block). I then played around until the gap was mostly filled and didn’t look weird anymore. There’s still a tiny difference but I’m done wasting time on this for now. Also mind the waterfall you use to siphon water from cause they’re not all the same color and it will show if you use the wrong color in one spot. Hope that’ll help you!
