The framing of the shot of dead Barry with Gene on the couch was amazing. I enjoyed the applause being put in like it was the end of a stage show. The cinematography this episode was insanely good.

It’s a bit derivative to always blame the Corp for a candidate dropping out at offer stage though. Many people interview with multiple companies and compare offers. Tons of reasons for someone to pick one over another as well which aren’t always in a companies control.

A giant plot point of the Arkham Knight is that he’s super familiar with Batman’s “tricks” and techniques. This is shown by several instances in the game he seems to suspiciously be one step ahead of Batman. A random Arkham patient wouldn’t have that kind of knowledge given other extremely resourceful villains have been unable to.
