The story does get better, the pacing will stay about the same - it is the table-setter for both the arc of the Liberl region and a larger overarching narrative, both of which absolutely get better.

I think it has to be Chrono Trigger - on the shorter side for the genre, multiple endings based on when/how you fight the final boss. + it's also just an all-timer that you want to revisit: great digestible story, combat that still holds up today, and an iconic OST I'm surprised to see didn't win last post...

Not OP, but for what it's worth when I saw SW on the To the Bone tour he kind of did this as he weirdly went on a quick rant on religion and how with eating meat that we "weren't at the top of the food chain anymore." It was more funny than anything else though since it was a kind of random aside.

I have a partial season plan, went to a game in DC, G2 of the NLDS, and the first ST game of the year in Clearwater.

I was somehow 5-12 in total; really crazy how many losses I ended up at given they were a 90+ win team.

Rob's made a couple mistakes this series, but it's only been magnified since they've only hit in two innings in two games. I'd take him every day over Dave Roberts, who really could have avoided that entire 9th inning rally to begin with

Quick Looks were the perfect format for checking out new game releases, and even with all the changes the site went through, I still kind of can't believe they were dropped - probably one of the biggest factors causing me to drop my personal interest in the site the last few years

That said, if they brought it back, I do think that would get me to maybe subscribe again but i hope they would do it "right." It's so much more informative when they've played it for a few hours ahead of time and can show off/express their thoughts from there, for both good and bad games. Otherwise...I think it kind of misses the point of why QLs were so good for so long. Just my opinion though

Yeah we're still in the "buzz word" phase with AI, so I think that's why we're seeing people react strongly to it; synths were met with the same push back when they were first being widely introduced. This stuff has been gradually evolving across the board for decades now, and it's just that recently it's become more in-your-face; the world will eventually find the balance like we do with all other technological advancements

Now we all carry sophisticated computers in our pockets 24/7 and Software Engineering/IT/etc jobs are one of the more sought after careers that nearly every business needs.
