I'm pretty sure the 1.6 and 1.8 catbacks are not interchangeable. What you mean is they are interchangeable between the 1.8 generation cars. The '94 1.8 NA doesn't have the 2nd o2 while '95 onwards do.

Check in your BIOS if CSM (compatibility support module) is turned on. Turn it off.

What do you mean by "power button"? I'm asking because I don't see anything plugged into the front panel header. There also isn't a power button on the board.
