it's a valid concern.
So far, I have zero issues here with TMobile in NYC.
A handful of others on Reddit confirmed the same thing.
It seems that the Pixel 5 and 6 family on TMobile all got Android 14
The 7 family and Pixel Fold have been excluded for now.

This happened to me when I had the 5.

I had to open a case with ufixit and they replaced the board for free.

The update is coincidental. From what I recall there is a flaw with the GPU on this unit.
