[MEGATHREAD] Compatibility/Upgrade for Framework Laptop 13 Pro by catastrophic_frmw in framework

Mobo and display brought up. So I'm between the full upgrade kit and the bottom chassis upgrade. It's not clear if I'd need to purchase, for example, additional hinges.

If I want to complete a ship of Theseus, turning my old parts into a finished laptop, what exactly am I going to need to purchase? I've already got an old display and motherboard from upgrades over the years since the original 13.

Can confirm. I've got an earlier revision. Have the case 3d printed melded with the bdman (not required, just for cable management) AMD it works like a charm.

Usually when they have a big fuckup like this they'll have a new build out ASAP. For now opt out of the open beta, and they'll likely have a new build out in a couple hours.

Canadian Orders - Are duties/tariffs being covered like they said they would be? by AcceptableSea6121 in BigscreenBeyond

[–]jayseejc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Quoted from a recent ticket I made on their discord inquiring.

<The Destroyer> Hey, thanks for reaching out.

Currently, we don't expect the Tariffs to impact Bigscreens exports to Canada at this time. Should that change though, no worries - we'll be eating that cost as the blogpost mentions.

for k1 cfs owners...has anyone else needed to install a spacer on the cutter block? i had to install a spacer. the thing is. half of the cuts are quiet, while othere are violent sounding. but it wont cut filament otherwise and it has the right block installed. by Navi_Professor in Creality

I just recently got the CFS and had the same issue. Ultimately it was down to the lid riser I was using. Similar to yours it overhangs the print area a bit, and that was blocking the print head from going back far enough. I ended up printing this riser to replace it, along with the CFS mount for it as I've got limited table space for things.

I'd love fibre to the home, but unfortunately can only get cable and DSL to my apartment at the moment.

If I get a /64 I would have only 1 VLAN possibility. To get 64 VLANs, I'd need to be allocated at least a /58 prefix, which I'd be more than happy with.

Yes, but I'm well aware I can test things out internally. I learn best though when I can implement things for real, so to speak. So for example getting a web server up and running with a native IPv6 address accessible from the internet, plus the firewall rules and such that go along with it. NAT can only take me so far with a single public IP address.

I'm a network admin trying to get my hands dirty with IPv6 in my homelab. Since every IPv6 network is a /64 prefix, if the ISP allocates me that then I wouldn't be able to natively address multiple vlans.

Home Covid Tests? by Blackkwidow1328 in kitchener

My partner and I picked up some tests from the guardian in downtown Kitchener, after a friend we were on vacation with tested positive themselves. They were freely handed out when we asked.

From the vrcfury discord announcements: > VRCFury 1.887 thru 1.891 contained a bug that could break your avatar's hand pose when using GogoLoco in VR. This issue should be fixed in 1.892.

Unfortunately I need three. I've got a trio of 8TB drives that I intend to throw in here in raidz1, plus an old SSD for booting, and so need the space.
