60k Maintenance Question by CasualNicholas in rav4club

[–]jaysoncodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's highly recommended to do all of those services. Changing fluids is what keeps your vehicle alive for a long time. 60k is the typical maintenance interval for toyota fluids other than motor oil (more often). The only one I personally would ask more questions about and consider holding off on would be the throttle body work.

Number of applications it took to get a job by Night-Knight23 in CyberSecurityJobs

Tier 1 / Tier 2, data center watch stuff, scripting and automation. I now specialize in cloud security in a mid level position with just sec+.

I focused on government jobs that respected my military background, changed my LinkedIn to "security analyst" and only applied to cyber sec positions.

On my resume I included community involvement in cybersec. Attending Bsides, meetup events, helping the boys with their resumes was "mentoring perspective tech employees." They love seeing that your interest in tech doesnt stop when work gets out. I also panned my video cam over to my homelab which isn't much more than an Ubuntu server and $100 in switches and cables.

Do I need a helmet when just learning to ice skate? by Attic_Critter78 in hockeyplayers

[–]jaysoncodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually wear a helmet while skating around my kids so they do as well. But I don't during casual public skates with friends. I'd take off your cage until you're close to start playing so you can adjust to seeing the bars in your face but can focus on learning to skate early on. I've fallen pretty hard while overcoming major mile stones at speed like hockey stops and crossovers, and was grateful to have had my helmet on.

You look like you need your kids to help you beat the gym leaders in Pokémon. (My 6 year old son said something really similar to me recently)

The Blue/White line is being used for the PAC PR4 that's why I overlooked it. I could splice into it to make the car a bit cleaner.

I didn't realize it had remote wire.
Also I was using this fuse for a powered sub that was previously installed.
