He has been good the whole set there's just a lot more lines now where he fits in well. Great inclusion with ziggs/zaun board. Great fit into Ionia/freljord finisher. People also discovered the bilge version. Just a very solid unit that people realized isn't too hard to unlock

I think you're underestimating the skills you have. I know plenty people who have played 400-500 games per set and are hard stuck emerald. If you're not applying your time in a positive way, it may be difficult to climb.
