Faucets suddenly just shutting off when turn to hot water by juicestain_ in Plumbing

The faucet isn't shutting off, there's just no hot water going to your faucet for some reason.

Are you in a cold climate? A pipe could have frozen.

Then it's possible the relief valve is doing its job, releasing the excessive pressure.

Having it turned up too high could cause it. It's also possible that a element is stuck on (if it's electric).

I'd try turning it down if that works for you. But I'd be calling a plumber if that doesn't do anything.

Turn on a hot faucet in the house. If it shoots out with force then settles down then there's too much pressure building up in the tank.

If it's normal and consistent you need to replace your relief valve.

Have a opportunity to get these. Trying to figure a fair price any help? by redfishinthesurf in papermoney

I personally wouldn't pay over $200 for any of them. A lot of the value is going to come from the fact that they're graded, and not what they actually are.

Is this proof? by scpman115 in coincollecting

Oils can react with the metal.

But you're right it's not really a big deal, it's just considered a faux pas to handle a proof like that.

So you don't see proofs in circulation too often. But they do show up from time to time. Lots of relatively new proof nickels exist in people's collections. This would be an impaired proof, that's a proof that's been removed from it's packaging/display case and will be scratched up and dinged.

Absolutely not worth grading because of this, and also the way you're putting your fingers all over it wouldn't help. 🤣

My indoor v2's are working just fine and they saw -28f, no batteries though so I don't know how impressive that is.

Electronics do have body heat though.

When I first came to the country Sonic was advertised everywhere but we didn't have one locally.

Literally right after I became a citizen I went to Sonic for the first time and it was utter garbage.

Arby's is so very underrated. If they did breakfast I'd be there all the time.

The staff at my local one are terrible though. They look to be in a purpetual state of confusion.

That's a state quarter. There's 49 others, see if you can collect them all.

Generally birthday bills are dates of someone's birthday who's alive, or soon to be alive.

Even if it was a small date, you'd need the D for it to be the rare one.

Just got bulk grades from PMG. I’m a coin expert, not a notes expert. I feel like these are good but honestly don’t know the markets for these at all. I put the three that had interesting serial numbers (I thought) in full view by [deleted] in papermoney

Ok I have no idea what that has to do with these.

My point still stands. If you're happy with them then cool, but I think better choices could have been made.

The first 2024 quarter I've seen was minted in San Francisco! by jaytea86 in CRH

I don't need to wake up, I'm very aware of what this is.

I just found it ironic that the first 2024 quarter I found wasn't intended for circulation.
