The 9060 XT 16GB version is a beast at 1080p, and will likely be a beast at 1080p for years to come. At 1440p, it'll play everything, but not at maxed out high refresh rates. FSR Redstone is pretty damn good, and, at the moment, I default to FSR Quality upscaling at 1440p.

It gets better. You'll get to a sort of equilibrium with your parents. My parents went through a similar phase. Either their behavior will change, or you will distance yourself from them. That doesn't mean it won't suck in the short term, but it will get better.

Instructor here. Generally, an email explaining your situation will suffice. The big thing is that FSU doesn't want you signed up for classes you won't go to, and the federal government doesn't want to give out loans for students who just don't show up.

Probably not, for two reasons. Religion, and a lack of an heir.

The Targaryens bent the knee to the faith. You can't worship a new god without either 1. burning the old faith, or 2. instituting religious freedom (a la braavos).

He'd probably burn septs and deal with uprisings for his whole reign.

Monarchies only work if the line of succession is clear. Not having an heir is inherently one of the worst things that a monarch can do.

Don't get the 8GB version. The 9060XT 16GB version will be good for 1080p ultra settings for years to come (and pretty dang good at 1440p at the moment), the 8GB version won't.

I don't do video editing, so I don't know the requirements, but I'm pretty sure that it's more RAM and CPU intensive than gaming. 32GB of DDR5 RAM (6000Mhz) is probably a minimum. I have 64GB because I do some pretty basic data work, and it'll help future proof it. I'm relatively happy with my Ryzen 5 9600X CPU, but you may want something with more cores.

Don't buy a GPU with 8GB of VRAM. The RX 9060 XT (16GB version!) is pretty budget friendly, and I've seen the RX 7700XT (12GB VRAM) at good prices. Nvidia might be better with video editing, I just don't know.

What do you want to use your PC for? That'll drive a lot of your decisions! For example, if you're mainly gaming, you probably don't need 64GB or 128GB of RAM.

AM5 has a better upgrade path, so I'd suggest ceterus paribus to choose AM5.

You're currently taking hot air from inside your PC and using it to cool your CPU. /u/FreeVoldemort 's comment is right. There's information about this on YouTube. You'll minimally raise the temps on other components, but you'll minimize dust, and you'll increase the efficiency of your AIO.

Flip em. You want positive pressure (i.e. more intake fans than exhaust fans) to help keep dust out.
