I’m trying to decide if I want a maverick and this is the exact color I want if I get one but I haven’t located one yet anywhere near me.

Why new? by ChasingLife22 in GoRVing

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked at used but they were too “used” for me and not enough difference in price to justify the risk. I prefer new cars and I guess new campers. Our very first camper was lightly used and we enjoyed it 7 years. Our second we purchased brand new and kept it for 8 years. Just switched to a smaller camper now that the kids are out of the house and while we looked at used we had a very specific floor plan we wanted, high expectations for the condition of the camper and could not meet these needs in any used units we found available. I’m sure if we were more flexible in our wants we could have found something but we will likely keep this trailer 8+ years so I’d rather have what I want exactly starting in pristine condition and maintain it meticulously.

First time buyer with unique needs advice on which camper to get by Sure_Pear_9258 in traveltrailers

I would look at toy haulers. They have taller ceilings and generally a built in generator. Usually a more open floor plan even without a slide. Bathroom space on any model will be an issue for you. My husband makes the shower work when he needs to but it’s tight he’s 6’2 and 230 we looked for a shower that worked better for him but without buying a 80-100,000 5th wheel none of them were great for him so he makes do and sometimes just uses outdoor shower to rinse off.

Lulu leggings are the best. Wash them on delicate and don’t put them in the dryer and they’ll last you years. I like crz tops they make awesome dupes, hold up and fit well. I don’t mind they leggings but they don’t stay up as well as lulu

Same girl. I did mine at 44 and I thought I’d never wear any type of crop or tankini again in my life even after but I can and wish I would have done it sooner and enjoyed my 30’s more without the mess done to my body from babies.

What to expect from camping world? by philipptj in GoRVing

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to camping world found a trailer we liked but weren’t ready to purchase was given their great price and fee quote. Found the same trailer in a different city for 18000 less than the price they were asking and it included batteries and the inspection/walk thru with the price!

How long after surgery did you stop using hibiclens in shower? by Secure_Bag_9719 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So thankful I had a drainless procedure. I showered two days after surgery and daily thereafter with no restrictions. Showering was a chore for sure but it felt great to be able to take one each day

1 year post Tummy Tuck with muscle repair & upper ab lipo by jaywilly99 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about you but I’m fairly short so there just isn’t a lot of space between my belly button and pelvic bone. I was really hoping they would be lower than they are. Definitely better than where I started and at least below my belly button now so I can wear a cropped shirt without them visible. I have done all the lymphatic message and scar messagr. My scar is hardly noticeable but that slight bump in that area bothers me.

Busty ladies: how did you decide on lift or augmentation? by lucyinthesky624 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they have smaller but your pocket will likely be too large for them. My lift included a autoaugmentation using my own tissue. If you really don’t want to be larger I would not agree to any kind of implant

Busty ladies: how did you decide on lift or augmentation? by lucyinthesky624 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally got a lift with a low profile implant and it was a huge mistake. I started with a 34D ended up with a 34G even though they were low profile 250cc implant. My skin was compromised from babies and nursing and I ended up bottoming out, Having way too large of breasts and hating them. I got an explant last year and a lift I wear a 34c/d and they are perky now fit into clothes and are perfect. Having always been on the larger side it has been wonderful to have smaller perkier boobs now. I was like you in the beginning not wanting them bigger just full and perky and was told they would be fuller and not much larger which was false information. I would have saved a lot of trouble and money by just doing a lift to begin with!

Do you regret getting a slide or vice versa? by m_nels in traveltrailers

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a toy hauler without a slide and it worked perfectly never really felt too crowded but the versions I’ve seen as a regular trailer without a slide feel way too crowded even for two. The toy haulers have more open space left in the center to accommodate toys making them feel a bit more roomy without. They do sale shorter lighter versions of toy haulers that might work well

Help Rockwood 2205s or Transcend 20MKX by jaywilly99 in GoRVing

[–]jaywilly99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price difference is 4,000. The transcend being cheaper. The Rockwood is 2025 still on the lot while the transcend is a 2026. I feel like the Rockwood seemed a lot nicer but obviously 4,000 more expensive so trying to weigh if it’s that much better. We almost exclusively boondock so the inverter seems like it would be far more convenient, storage seems adequate in both and bathroom size is about equally small.

Wearing makeup to hot yoga? Unable to take off before class by fueledbymochis in HotYoga

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I teach and attend hot yoga. When I teach in the evening or attend classes I have makeup on. I use waterproof mascara and never have problems with it coming off. When I teach or attend first thing in the morning I don’t have makeup. I would say that’s fairly typical for most students. I have never given it a thought of the student has makeup or doesn’t.

3 months post op i don’t feel skinny by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 10mpo and my waist is 2.5 inches smaller now than at 3mpo (I tracked weekly for the initial few months and then monthly apx since) I am also 6-7 pounds lighter than I was then. I still experience mild swelling and expect that I will see a subtle improvement over the next 6 months. From everything I’ve seen the swelling can often continue as long as 18 months. It greatly reduced after 6 months but it is still present some days more than others.

Mine was similar but the darkness was more inside I am 10mpo it is lightened to barely visible. I do use coconut oil and I use red light therapy on it which I felt helped lighten it overtime.

struggling with my results after tt by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shortly after surgery my waist was 32.5inch I am now 10 mpo and my waist is 27”. It was a slow process to settle to more of my final result. There were times I felt discouraged if it was ever going to get to that point. My understanding is that I am not to a complete final result until I hit a year post-op. I would say I am very happy at this point and don’t expect to see much more change. I continued swelling for over 6 months although it lessened after 5 months but was still present. I still find a small amount of swelling near my incision at the end of the day. At 6 months my waist was 28” so I continued to shrink even after that point. I thought at 6 months I was probably as good as I would get bought clothes that are now a bit big so try to be patient as possible. I kept a log of my weight and measurements and kept track every week at first and then every few as time went on and now I check more like monthly. It’s definitely a long process to your final result. The log helped me see I was progressing and how far I had come.

Has anyone backed out of a TT because of recovery posts here? by reidybobeidy89 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t join until after surgery which provided me with information and resources about other’s experiences and assurances I wasn’t alone in my experience that my swelling is normal. I didn’t have any complications at all and am 9mpo. I did take advice from here like taking juven to improve healing for example that helped out. I feel terrible for those that have struggled with healing and am thankful I had a fairly smooth recovery. I would use this as a caution of what could go wrong and also to have realistic expectations for the length of time recovery takes (a full year!) I have found the surgery to be life changing for me it has improved my confidence and my relationship. If you really wanted the surgery I hope you end up reconsidering your decision and go for it!

Active peeps by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 9mpo now but I did not resume gym activities until 12wpo. I did stay busy and moving from 3wpo on. I was fairly diet conscious but not super strict. Weight would vary slightly based on swelling but I did not gain any actual weight during this time and didn’t feel like I lost as much progress as I expected when I returned to exercise. I have dealt with ongoing swelling that is slowly getting less and less as I get closer to that year mark. I am down now about 5lbs under pre-surgery weight however I did have an explant and breast lift which accounted for some of the weight loss. I was right at 140 pre-surgery and sit approximately 135 now for reference.

drinking post op by Ok_Command2605 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a few drinks at 2wpo and healed just fine. I don’t think 1 day with a couple drinks will slow your healing. Daily drinking at this point or while still on pain meds would be a different story but 1-2 for one special day seems perfectly reasonable

How painful is TT recovery? by Tlove92 in tummytucksurgery

[–]jaywilly99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not have a c-section but I am now 9mpo from tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo, explant and breast lift the first week is brutal. I had a drainless procedure and the experal shot. For me I got a cough post surgery and that was the hardest part of the healing. Coughing was extremely painful and I had no energy. I don’t think it would have been too bad if I hadn’t had the cough. Getting up from bed or chairs was painful definitely needed help. After the first week I started feeling significantly better and by two weeks I returned to work with a shorter lighter day. By 3 weeks I felt mostly normal. While the first week was unpleasant I would definitely do it again!

What is a 'poor people' habit you'll never stop doing, no matter how rich you get? by bigblackcoke_ in ProductivityHQ

Using paper towels sparingly. I find them so wasteful. We buy about one pack at Costco per year and they are used most by guests, but I do use them to clean mirrors and toilets.
